Find out what he likes or needs which he doesn't have. That's your answer. No present is appreciated if the receiver does not need it. The effort you put in to get the right present for him is already good enough for your father. Believe me, I am a father.

You really do need help since your two months late. What are his interests or hobbies? Books? Crossword puzzles? TV series DVD, e.g., Band of Brothers? Mall gift certificate? Meal gift certificate? Dunkin Donuts gift certificate? Take him out to dinner and a show? Spend some quality time with him? Write him a letter telling him what he means to you?

It really depends on the guy. I don't know one who doesn't like food, movies, gadgets or stuff for their car. Dare I add... money or a trip to the local strip club? Nice ones will like pictures of their kids especially if they don't see them much. Again, It just depends on the person. Um... aren't you a little late though?

G'day!
donno abt ur dad's liking....bt bringing him out 4 dinner is a good start....or maybe u can slide a "father's day card" under his pillow. Ultimately make him feel appreciated and give him a day of "bumming" around the house...
