The clerk was out of place to say anything at all. Personally I would report her to the store manager. As you know you do not abuse your daughter, I wouldnt worry. All you needed to do was inform the very nosy clerk that she fell and hit her arm, and to accuse people of something so serious as child abuse is very irresponsible on her part.

If thats is what happened to your daughter (and believe me,I have a 12 yr old girl and a 9 yr old boy,so I know how kids are)....I would go right to the manager and file a formal complaint against her and also mention having a laywer....that should do the trick...or you can beat her ***....I prefer the second one,but by law you shouldn't do that one....lol.....good luck!

That's upsetting. I can see someone being concerned, but they shouldn't jump to conclusions. What would I do? I'd probably say, "I would never lay a hand on my daughter. I am very offended by your remark. Get facts before you accuse people of something so horrible. How would you feel if you were in my shoes?"

you should not have had to explain anything to this store clerk obviously she is a busy body who has never had a child. if you go into this store a lot and you feel that you are being mistreated or recieveing bad customer service contack her manager and explain aboubt the rude nosy employee he has and if that doesnt work take your buisness elsewhere confronting the lady does no good you know you dont abuse your daugther you dont need to explain yourslef to random strangers.

I'm sorry. I hate when stuff like that happens. Just try to let it go because you know there is nothing wrong with her. I always worry about that with my youngest. He's 3 and our little daredevil with constant scrapes and bruises.

here's a story for ya...
when i was a baby, my aunt and grandma took me to jcpenney while my mom was at work (they watched me during the day) that morning i had fallen off my grandmas bed and hit my head on the post leaving a bruise and a bit of a scratch. when my aunt used her credit card at the cashier, it displayed her name and the cashier called child protective services!! when my dad came to pick me up at my grandmas house, a guy from child protective services was there! my grandma had to explain to the guy that i had fallen off the bed and luckily my dad had already heard the story and could back it up.... after that jcpenney got a nasty letter from my aunt!

AND SEE ALL THE @SS KISSING FLY ALL OVER THE PLACE. Tell her to mind her own business or you will make her look worse than your daughter.
Actually you should complain to the store manager.
