My husband and I have been married for 2 years and he had a son with another girl before we met. the girl seems to be a bad mom and has b-friends that might have abused the boy in some way...well my husband is thinking of fighting for custody of the boy who is 7 and lives with his grandparents. we have a 2 yr old baby girl and i am paranoid about a previously abused child being at my house with my husband and daughter alone while I am at work. I have a feeling I'll never feel comfortable of this and I'll live my life worrying. I want to help my husband and support him, but he's very carefree and doesnt think like a mom would.i mean you hear so many things nowadays that you can never be too protective of your kids. how can i help the situation? how can i bring it up to him to never leave the boy alone with the baby without him getting offended...im so scared..please help me.

My step daughter has done this plenty of times before. After I got upset and told her That she just shouldn't be saying things like that, and I worked hard to prepare dinner for her, her dad chimed in.. She didn't mean any harm. Now may anger was towards him I think he should of backed me up. How in gods name is she going to learn what is rude if her dad coddles her. We have spoken before about his daughters rudeness . He thinks she is going to learn how not to be rude, and to be polite on her own. I strongly disagree. I have corrected her several times on this same subject. I don't want to do anything nice for her because she is ungreatful and impolite. please let me know if I am being picky. P.S. I have heard her sibblings tell her she is so rude many times.

I loaned her this money for a car. She knows it was a loan. It's been 2 months since I loaned it to her and I haven't seen 1 penny. I really need something because I just had a baby and that is what the money was originally for. How should I break the ice and ask her to start up a payment plan?

When I was 13, I was molested by my brother in law. I was scared to death to tell because I was afraid nobody would believe me and that I would not be allowed to see my little nieces ever again. As the years went by, I resented him more and more. Eventually, I wanted to stop going to all family functions and my Mom pushed me for answers as to why. I finally told her, got therapy, and eventually told my sister. In the past 4 years, I have been going to family stuff and feeling horrible. He is at everything. Recently, I left a party early because I simply don't want to be around him. In addition to the anxiety I feel about him, my 4 siblings are much older than me and I have never felt like I fit in. My sister asked me why I left and I said it is because I feel uncomfortable around the family and I feel bad being around my molester. She said I need therapy and that I act like I am 14 because my son and I have been living with my parents for 7 years. I feel strongly that I am not wrong.

My daughter will be two years old August 24th. I am currently pregnant and soon to be ready to have my son due August 9th. That makes them almost two years apart. We would like to have one more but can not decide whether to wait another two years or to go ahead and start trying after I am recovered from this one. How far apart is the spacing between your children and what do you recommend?

Really, the girl has no sense of style...And I want to help her a lot, but she is very competitive, and she never admits that she is wrong. So, I am afraid that if I say that she needs some fashion advise and that some clothes really don't look nice on her, she will be sad and fight with me. I could ask my brother to tell her that (he also thinks that she dresses badly) but she could fight with him, and I don't want that, so...How can you tell someone, in a very nice way, that this person dresses really bad and needs some advise to go shopping??

It seems that i always fail her. Whenever she asks me to look up something for her in a report, i always forget to. Sometimes, however, i can be a big help to her but she doesn't remember that when i fail to do something. She is grumpy sometimes and likes romantic movies, music, etc. What should i do?

I belong to a religious community which practices not only strong moral principles and a code of brotherly love but which also allows me to have more than 1 wife.
I myself have at the moment 2 wives (soon to be 3) we all - that is my wives and 9 children and assorted pets live in close harmony with each other.

Here in my community we have an old 'community saying' which is;
Q...How many wives can you get at your kitchen sink.

A...As many as you kneed to keep a clean house.

This answer always raises a smile when visitors do 'The Tour'.

I reckon that there's more than one male out there who is more than a little envious of our ways!
Is There ?

I'm 14, and I'm old enough to get a job but, my mom doesn't want me to. Eveytime I bring up the subject she quickly either walks outta the room to avoid the conversation or starts talking about something else. I've told her all the benifits there'd be. Like, I'd be able to pay for my own stuff and the like...Any suggestions?
