Whom, in your life, has influnced your opinions and values most? There are many people who touch our lives daily, but whom do you think had part in the development of your beliefs the most?

Wow, that is a complicated question. Ultimately though I think a large source of my values and opinions came from books I read. While a lot of people had influence in my life I think I actually developed my main core set of values that has stuck with me based upon reading. I started reading by the age of 4 and have never stopped. When I was young I would often read a book every day or two. I read a wide variety of stuff from science books, to romance, to basic fiction, to world book encyclopedias. I think the books that touched me the most early on in conjunction with what I learned from other books about actual world events created a value system with in me. The one of the biggest influences and earliest in my life was a book called "Laddie" that was handed down in my family from my grandmothers childhood.

every one in my immediate family plus i put my own spin on issues as i got older of course
