You go into the school and discuss anti bullying practices, most good schools have a Buddy system which means that the bullied child can go and seek help from an older person in school

write down the dates everything happens, if there are bruises, photograph them and write down the location of the bruise

contact the school with a written letter and give them 24 hours to tell you what happened, and then if you have to, go to the police... however, don't mention police involvement because everyone at the school with shut tighter than Fort Knox

if the school doesn't do anything, contact the school board and keep taking it up the ladder until you're as high as you can get.. if nothing still happens, contact the media...

we had a situation where my 17 year old sister with Down Syndrome was bullied by other girls from grade 9 right through to grade 10... nothing happened and if it wasn't for the fact that my parents didn't want my sister exposed to the media, we would've contacted them... the school basically said that the bruises were caused by us.. her family... if that was the case, why would we take pictures and show the school????????

we ended up pulling her from school because it was so traumatizing..

good luck.. if you need any help, feel free to email me.. amber.newsome@yahoo.ca

The good thing here is she is only 6 so if you go to the principal noone gets too bent out of shape! Find out the childs name who is being so mean and hateful to your daughter and talk with the principal. See if he can set up an appointment time with the other kids parents so you can settle things before it gets worse. If she was a teenager- that would only make it worse-but she is only 6 so it should fix things pretty fast for u Good luck

Fisrt i would like to say i am really sory to hear that and what i would do is talk to the kids mother, because they are at a really young age. The last thing you want is to have your daughter being afraid of everyone. If that doesnt work maybe you can satrt walking with her when she goes to school. Hope this advice works.

You should teach her to walk away from the situation. Have you spoke with her teachers yet? My daughter was bullied as well and I went to school and spoke w/the Principal and teachers involved. I do hope that she overcomes the terrible ordeal that she has went through.

This is so hard, since some parents are in denial about their little brats. Talk to the school and stay on it. Maybe talk to your daughters doctor, they may suggestions. Teach her not to take this abuse. Last ditch effort call Dr. Phil.

you march down to the school and tell that principle if he/she can't protect your daughter from a bully , then he doesn't need to be there.
my son was being picked on also last year in 2nd grade, he is small so the big kids picked on him, i went right to school and had a meeting with all his teachers and principle. THey assured me that they have a NO BULLY policy and that it would be taken care of immediately. also they reasurred him it would never happen agian. he told them who it was and it was taken care of.
tell her it's going to be ok...... :)

Tape the event and give te video to the police. Bullies only understand fighting fire with fire. Teach your daughter that it's not her fault and then teach her how to kick some ***.

first i will get the principal to intervene....if nothing's being done, i will request to see the bully's parents and have a chat with them...if nothing being done again, i will sue the bully's parents for traumatizing my child....

Teach her how to stand up for herself and if necessary, fight back. She might get in trouble for fighting, but she will have more confidence in herself and may very well scare the bully.
