I guess one of the biggest problems between my husband and I is his mother. He will drop everything to help when his mother calls for something, wheather it be money for her or family member, needs airline tickets, her car breaks, he will fix it and pay for the parts and give her my car to drive. He even makes plans with her and doesn't tell me until the day and I have to go. He speaks 2 languages (english and spanish),she only speaks spanish. He says that his mom doesn't have money and he wants to help her but they all wear timberlands, nike/southpole, computer etc. One day he told me that his mom needed 400 and she would pay me back weekly, that was 3 years ago and now he tells me to forget about it. Not to mention the first 400 to have her move here 600 for her apt, the list goes on. Am I over reacting when I question him on why he does that since we are struggling and the times we asked her for help she said no. He always tells me its his mom and will help no matter what.

Ok...he has a real mom who he is close with. Well, his step mom happens to live close to us so we see her alot. Our wedding is coming up and I asked her to put together a guest list from her side and her husbands side (which is my fiance's dad). she has taken forever so my fiance and i sat down and made the guest list. I told her we had and I already had everyones address...she got really snotty (which is her nature) and proceeded to tell me I didnt....that i didnt have her brother's wifes parents did i? and i said no...and she was like see you dont have everyone........ok my guest list is already around 300 and that is just with close family and friends....im not going to invite her sister-in-laws parents who my fiance does not even know!!!!! are you kidding me! Our rule is...if we have never met you or talked to you within the last year....sorry no invite...our wedding is big enough! How do I explain this to her!? HELP!

My friend and I have been best friends for over 17 years. At Christmas and Birthdays we exchange gifts. Every year, I put a lot of thought into these gifts. I don't spend a fortune, usually around $20 for each her and her husband. I can't say that she does the same. Last year for my birthday, we went out to brunch with a $100 gift certificate that I received, and I had to pick up the rest of the tab... (Appx. $75)This year, as we exchanged gifts a few nights before Christmas, I opened her gift to me to find a $3 candle. She gave my husband a $2.97 bottle of cheap wine... This friend is a professional and b/w her and her husband, they bring in well over $100k per year. My husband is retired from the military, and I make a fraction of what she does... I know that it's the thought that counts, but this doesn't show me that she thinks very much of our friendship. What should I do? I'm tired of being taken advantage of!

I'm a divorced mom of a 8 yr old son. My ex is remarried and I know his wife takes my son out shopping for his dad but i still like to get my son a little something to give his dad for holidays. For example this x-mas i got a nice frame that said " I love my daddy" and put in a photo i took of my ex and son together. What do you guys think about me doing this? In the 5 yrs of our divorce my ex never got my son a gift to give me (don't expect it) but am wondering if i'm wrong in doing this.

I hate the fact men are going for stick women nowadays

I mean, I wear size 12 top, sometimes bigger or my 36D chest gets crushed because they dont design clothes for women who have larger than a C cup breast basically.

I'm not fat, I know that.

But I have curves, My waist is smaller than any of my friends that wear smaller sizes than me but I'm hourglass shape basically.

Seeing all these size 0 models on t.v almost makes me sick

How can you guys like that?

Its like looking at a brick the women are the same size all over.

So basically what I'm trying to say is, do you agree? why not?

this happened during a marital fight. we were fighting in the car and as soon as i got off a bottled water was thrown at me by my husband. i was not hit but im wondering if it is normal in a relationship? or a sign of more abuse to come?

all. our relationship lately has been rocky. in the last 3 months. she's been trying to get the father of the kids in their lives because both kids miss their father. the father doesn't care about the kids at all. he goes in & out of their lives. one day on the 4 yr old's b-day they both told the kids infront of them that they never wanted them & that they were a mistake. that was a month ago. i told her i was tired of the b.s. & threatened to leave her. she begged me to stay & that she would change. so i stayed. things haven't changed & now she tells me that her ex is dealing drugs but she will not call the cops or do anything except spend time w/ the kids. i feel like i am being used. we were supposed to save up for a house together but she is always broke. she never spends any money on me so i don't know how. i come from a good family. i never had this happen to me before. what do i need to do? i'm scared she might take me down w/ her in her mess??

Hello
Long story short, I was in a relationship for 10 yrs, and I truly loved the guy, but things didn't work out and we parted ways!! A year has past and he has moved on and I've enjoyed my life bieng single. This summer I met an awesome guy, we have so much in common it's scary. He himself was married for 10 yrs and also has been single for about a year now. See we dated in the summer and had THE BEST TIME EVER. But things started to move to fast and we both got scared...and things ended. He came back and wants to work things out, and we have started were we left off! I think I'm falling in love with him, but since my past relationship and with the new guy coming back in after being gone for 2 months has me freak out, I have a guard up!!! He told me he loved me for the 1st time on Xmas eve, and I've been longing to tell him I love him too. But the words wont come out. I'm to scared!!! What do I do? I want him to know I love him. I want to fall in love again?? Why cant I tel him..why?

I was talking to another guy on line and we were being overly flirty and basically i was a big jerk and started saying things about caring for him and other stuff I shouldn't have said. im looking for a relationship and i dont wanna just "fool arond" with guys. he said that for my b-day he would give me a kiss for my present and my b-day was on dec 13th. but we just havent had time to take care of that. then on his myspace it said that he didnt want a girl friend and i asked him why and he said bcuz his last 2 cheated on him. but then like a week and 1/2 after that he changed it to say that he has someone in mind. but idk if thats me or his ex-girl cuz i think he still likes her but she has a bf. and i dont know what to do. he said hes grounded but i told him any ways that if he got ungrounded that he could comeover today or tomrrow cuz my parents would be gone. he said that sounded good. but i really dont know if he just wants to fool around or if he likes me or what. please help me!?!?! idk what to say or to do? i dont want to just come right out and ask him either.

Is it possible to file for divorce without informing the courts of the child. In other words I have a daughter and i just want to file for divorce so that my child would not be put in the system for child support or visitation rights and all that mess. My sister's on answers, and has asked a few questions about her husband, with his ex, sneaking around, etc. Can someone give her some advice that she could do... possibly step by step?? Here are some of the details: Her husband, we'll call him rave (lol) was engaged/living with a girl we'll call rammy. He broke up with my sister several times while dating her, and went back out with rammy. Eventually, he & my sister got married. Everything was good, they had fights now and then, as just about every married couple does. Then out of the blue, five years into their marriage, my sister discovered he had called rammy to wish her a happy birthday. a few months later, she found out that he was emailing her and meeting her at the bar. he said he would stop. then a few months ago, she found out that he had a secret email account, and had been emailing rammy from his parent's house so that my sister wouldn't find out. this has been going on for quite some time now, and i am out of advice.

Alright so I am 19 and I would rather live on my own. I know love is beautiful even though I have never felt it. But me I live to dangerous of life and dont think it would be right to put a wife and especially a kid through that. I just dont think I am fit to be husband or a dad. Is it wrong to just give up on that cuz of the way I live?? I just dont want to be one to leave a son without a father and wife with out a husband. Better to just stay out of that and no one gets hurt.
