I want a companion that looks at me as his equal and values me as a person not just as a sex object or a cook/maid.
Someone that respects and is interested in my interests as well as their own.
Someone that really listens and understands that just because I'm telling you why I'm having a bad day I don't expect you to fix it--just make it a little easier w/ a nice back or foot rub.
Someone that is faithful, honest and most of all kind/loving. :)
Someone that understand that sometimes the best times are snuggled at home on the couch watching a good flick.
Someone that knows that sometimes the little things matter most...take time to notice...and act. You don't get time back.
Someone that understands that relationships take work and that no one has a PERFECT relationship--there is NO SUCH THING.
Someone that loves me on my worse days and never gives up on us (or me). It's being unconditional.
Someone that budgets and takes care of the necessities first then comes the fun stuff....Sure money is a NEED/MUST but it really can't buy true love. It's about working together as a team....financially and emotionally...just knowing you have that special person--makes life so much sweeter. :)
I'm blessed enough to ~*KNOW*~ I found the person I'm going to have the ideal marriage with it took me 24 yrs. to find him but on 5-3-08...it will be official--I can't wait to be his WIFE and start a Family!! wOOt!! :)) I wish everyone the love we've found. :)

where you are not only husband and wife, but best friends too. The marriage should be based on trust, commitment and should be fun too. The other person should put you first. Money? Its not important- happiness and health are more important. So under no circumstances someone that " keeps his mouth shut and opens his wallet". That relationship, based on materialism, wont last.

i have the ideal marriage. I love my husband and i know he loves me - we both work in education and understand the pressures we are under - we have 3 wonderful children ages 25,24 and 14. we are equal in our household and have alot of respect for eachother . we have known eachother since i was 5 and he was 8 and started dating when i was 13. his sister is my best friend. yes we have had money problems and trials in our marriage but have worked through that together. What more could a woman want?

he is kind, brilliant dad, funny as f**k, fantastic in the bedroom, my best friend, great cook, cleans and does the washing up. he is fab!
