Well i like this guy and i asked him out 4 or 5 weeks ago and he hasn't answered. i feel bad when i think about him and i feel like im doing something wrong. i try to look pretty for him but i feel like he dosent care. We hardly ever talk any more, and when we do its so awkward. all my friends tell me to stop liking him hes a bad person, but i cant! i just cant tear myself away. because every time i think about him i think of all the cute things hes done and block out the bad. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what should i do?!?!

I am 33 years old, smart(don't have a high degree but I am an intelligent person), have a stable job, live by myself, good hygiene. I am constantly told I am pretty(mostly by women old enough to be my mother, or younger women). I always get "With those eyes and that hair, I can't believe the guys are lining up" Or "You don't even know how pretty you are" Yet I can't get one guy to be interested. I don't act desperate, I don't try TOO hard. Nobody approaches me, if we are around men, they always like one of my friends. I have tried Match.com and can't ever get a second date. I went to speed dating and didn't get 1 match. Yet my friend who is very plain and doesn't have good features(and somewhat unfortunate teeth), got 7 matches. What is wrong with me? I do have 25, 30 extra lbs I am trying to loose....but I know it can't be because I am not skinny(or maybe it is), because people who are much bigger than me have men and are married.
Everyone finds someone and I can't!

They have 5 children together - all will be at our house for the party. The ex is re-married, but apparently they don't have anything to do. She makes me uncomfortable when I see her at any function (kids birthday parties, etc.) but I deal with it. Should I have to be uncomfortable in my house on Christmas Eve, or am I being selfish?

i live with my grandmother and i want to live with my birth parents im 15 and will be 16 in a month my grandmother will not let me live with them i had to move in with her because she took me in her home when i was in defacs but my parents got my brothers back and they now have a home and own there ownn business they couldnt get me back because my grandma got custody of me.

I am a college student, and I met this girl from a club organization. We are both premeds while she is in her third year and I am in second.

We have been friends for about 2 months, and we went out once. She was not doing well in her classes, but she made a time for me. Since she was extremely busy, she couldn't go out anymore. I asked her out like twice, but she declined them all, because she was so frustrated with her study. Before I didn't know thiss, I thought that was over, but every time when I was asking her to study with me, she always said yes. After study, we had dinner together at campus many times.

There was one time when I could kiss her. Every single condition was just perfect. But I was just a complete idiot and a coward, so I couldn't. Perhaps I couldn't do this because she was too special for me.

Open minded people are people who are not afraid to try out new things, new experiences and new challenges in life in general. Closed Minded people are people who don't care at all to experience and see new things in life---- they are pretty much comfortable where their at, living a simple life.

A friend of mine is constantly complaining about her life. Everyone else is to blame for her plight. If she doesn't have a job, it's because there aren't any, if she's broke, everyone else is supposed to chip in to pay for what she needs. It is always Woe is Me. She always plays the victim. I know jobs are hard to come by, but in her case, there are offers but she thinks they are beneath her. What advice would you give her ?

Her father, who is named after his sisters father instead of his own, was suppose to change his name before she was born. And of course he didn't so we named her after him. But I want to know can I either add my last name or change her last name without going through him? We were never married and I am the custodial parent.

Okay so I'm having my wedding in May at a very nice country club. The dinner is going to be chicken(not sure what yet) and filet mignon. The cocktail hour is open bar, there will be a champagne toast and we will offer another hour of open bar after dinner. I feel like a lot of people expect weddings to be open bar the entire evening. That would cost us an extra $10,000 just for the open bar, which just isn't pracatical. What do you think of the 2 hours of open bar? is open bar all night expected?

three years ago my husband had an affai. The girl said after the first week she was pg and then she lost it. Then a few months after he was back home she called him and said she was pg again. Then she called and said it was not his. Now three years later she found him on myspace and said the little boy is his. SHe said she wants him to know his dad and that she never lied to anyone. She married and said the little boy does not call him dad. She told me I am a side item and that I need to stay out of it. She said it is between her and my husband. My twin sister owed me $5. She had no money. Then we each got $30 from our grandpa. The bills were in 3 twenty-dollar bills and one ten-dollar bill. I got 2 twenties and she got one twenty and one ten. She thinks that now I owe her $5. I think I don't. Who is right? Thanks in advance.

I'm wanting to do mini tape measures for a wedding favor but I'm having a hard time finding them. I'd plan on personalizing them myself if I had to keep them inexpensive or do custom print if not too expensive. I want to have them say "love beyond measure" and our names/date of wedding on them. My MIL seems perfectly fine with everyone not being close. It has finally dawned on me that if her own son doesn't care - why should I? In my family, my mom is the glue that usually smooths everything out & keeps us all close. However, my MIL is the complete opposite. She doesn't seem to care if we all talk or not. Their family is very superficial & boring. Everything is on the surface. The siblings never call each other and treat each other worse than strangers. It is as if they are acquaintances that happen to be siblings. The mother always calls us & seems to thrive on my family as entertainment. Snidely saying things to me like Marie Barone does. She will call her son (my hub) often & he never calls her back. Finally when I had my kids, I stopped trying to push them together & fight to keep my own family close. Now because I no longer push for a relationship she believes that I am cold. She never says anything - god forbid she show an emotion. Am I ok for sitting back?

My wife recently broke her leg, and I've been charged with a lot of her care. Lately, she seems to get upset and depressed easily, even going from elated to depressed within minutes over the slightest thing. Her biggest moment of happiness lately was her doctor's appointment, during which she gushed to me about how wonderful and good-looking the office staff is. She even went so far as to ponder if she married someone like that...handsome, successful (I make average wages and have battled a weight problem all my life.) She had previously gushed about how great a classmate who lost weight looked. However, when it comes to me, she seems to oppose my desire to get in shape. I honestly feel like she's not attracted to me anymore. I'm at a total loss.
