Due to last week I had an abortion due to my boyfriend said that he was not ready financially and I was not ready mentally but in a way if he would have said he was ready I may would have kept it. And financially he wasn’t ready but now it’s close to Xmas and he’s out spending unnecessary money on his other kids. Should I BE UPSET

From what you've told me, you've had unprotected relations with a man who already has previous children with other women. Please don't blame the abortion on him as we all know ultimately its a woman's choice whether or not she will. You can be upset if you want to but I don't think you should be. What exactly is 'unnecessary' money? Is it 'unnecessary' because they are not your children? Turn the story around, if they were your children would it still be 'unnecessary'? I really can't judge your decision to be with him or to get the abortion but from your question I would really really recommend evaluating your state in life right now before its too late. Why aren't you using birth control, instead of trying to have a baby with someone who is not ready for a commitment? I applaud your mature decision to have the abortion. Now, further that by getting on the Pill, or the Patch, or making sure your boyfriend is using double condoms! How many other kids does this guy have?
Personally he sounds like someone who shouldn't be sowing his seed all over the place. I would be very careful or you may find youself being a single mother, raising a child by yourself.

Do a little research, and find out what it cost to have a child. Just the Doctor and Hospital alone. Then you'll better understand what he meant by financially!! Ask this question in the medical category: What's the average cost of childbirth ? you'll be upset!!

You shouldn't be upset, but of course you would be. Who wouldn't? It's okay to be upset. but you shouldn't be angry with him. He has kids, and it's Christmas time. People always spend unnecessary money on their kids. Try not to be mad at him, it's really not his fault. If he's not ready financially, then that's that.

I think you should not be upset about him spending money around Christmas because maybe there is an explanation for it, and that is his way of trying to forget about things (ask him)...
...if there is a reason to be upset it should be the fact that he could have been supportive in your time of need because of what you have been through...
...if he does not take the initiative to consider your feelings, you need reevaluate your relationship with him.

Spendin money for xmas has nothing on raising a child-hospital bills, food, insurance, it is WAY more expensive than xmas shopping

You're a big girl and YOU made the decision..don't put the blame elsewhere.
I have been in your shoes. I made a decision that was right for me at the time....no regrets.
This was not a decision to take lightly....sounds as if you should have put some more thought into it...

yeah and no i mean he's gotta buy for his kids...but i cant believe you actually killed a child i dont know why you people think you can play god. What did the child ever do to you? Was it the babies fault that you had sex (i think not) You could have given the child to a loving family. There is plenty of parents who arent able to have children..........
I hope one day all you people who are for abortion burn in hell for it.......no one should be able to take a childs life..........an innocent child!!

If you are at all upset, the only person you should be upset with is yourself. If you are upset, you based your decision on someone else's opinions and responsibilities and not your own. I don't mean to offend, but sometimes the truth hurts.
