Your birth parents should be able to petition the court to return you to their custody. In spite of your grandmother currently have custody.

To legally emancipate yourself you have to go to court and show that you can financially support yourself.

You might be able to petition the court to return you to your parents custody as well. Most children over the age of 12 or 13 can choose which parent they want to live with after a divorce. So I would think you could do so in this case as well.

To be emancipated, you will have to prove to a court that you can support yourself emotionally and financially without being a drain on the public.

This sounds more like a situation for family court, not for emancipation. Good luck

Maybe it is a blessing that you live with your grandmother. Just work on finishing school and visiting your parents as often as you can. I do not think it is worth trying to get emanicipated; for one you do not have money for a lawyer and two you can not support yourself. Chill out you'll be in college soon enough and you can live on campus and kiss whoever you wnat goodbye.

To get emancipated in most states, you have to prove to the courts that you can hold a job, be in school keeping your grades up. Show that your mature.
You don't sound mature. Do you have a job? Do you do well in school? IF not, you best get to working on it!!
