he starts a new relationship? I'm divorced and single started seeing my best friend. He had been living apart from his wife for seven months because of their problems. He told me that they were getting divorced he has his own place and they took eachother off the joint bank account. I went into the relationship with the understanding they were done and he says he loves us both and doesn't know what to do. He lead me to believe that he already had the "Divorce Talk" now the people that know us and that we were a couple are calling me a homewrecker. They have no kids together and now I'm left hurt and confused. I do believe he loves us both. His wife is 15 yrs older than him, and his mother was murdered when he was 17. They do not have any kids or sexual relationship at all, but he recognizes the part that is hard to divorce is that it is like loosing a mom again. We are the same age and I have two sons that adore him and he wants a family of his own now. Something she does not want.

I skipped school 4 times and two times, I faked a note.
Of course it's bad and I don't disagree that it was wrong and I need to accept my consequences. But would you make it so that your forbid your child of getting any presents on christmas?

Ok so I have lived with my older brother (legal guardian) for the last 2 years, he is turning 20 and we finally decided that he should go to college. (I am 16) My aunt offered me to move in with her the only problem is that she lives far away from my current school. I like my school and am a pseo student so I go to college during the day. My friend also offered me to move in with her and her mom. Would this be rude to move in with my friend? I think that her mom would become my legal guardian. I have known this family for a while, I wouldn't have to pay rent (they want me to save up for college like her daughter alex) Alex and I are real close, but we would have to share a room (I think we can handle it) And I think that it is a good idea... but would this be appropriate or should I give up my free college opportunity to live with a relative?

my bf wears plain t-shirts EVERYWHERE and it bothers me. I am talking about white t-shirts that most people wear to sleep. So we are going out and i am all dressed up and guess what?, he rolls out in a t-shirt. it makes me feel like i am dating a hs kid. i have talked to him about it and he feels i don't like his style. i happen to think his 'style' belongs to 16 yr olds. It bothers me b/c he has a great body but covers it up in big t-shirts and baggy pants and it is very unattractive. Guys what do you think about this? Does he have a point in saying i shuldn't try to change his style or am i right? is he still stuck in adolescence? before you answer this put your self in my shoes: how would you feel if your significant other constantly wore 'pjs'?

OK.. so in Australia we have a welfare system.. where abandoned muthas and their children get cash from the gov't for rent assistance and ~ abandoned muttha's pensions and stuff.. and low life scum bag husbands dissapear without a trace, changing their names and holding unlisted phone numbers to avoid child support payments.

Anyway.. it's my wedding anniversary today... 21 years I am reminded.... and Donna's friend Collette is here and she tells me it is some kind of record because if I move into the spare bedroom and if Donna advises the Govt that we have separated (even disclosing that I still reside with her) her she will get some cash for that.

What do you think about that system?

Is this weird for a 16 year old in a relationship??
well is it weird if i share all of my feelings with my girl friend?(shes was and still is just like my best friend) I tell her how much she means to me, and how thankful i am for her in my life right now, and when im with her i feel like i found the missing part of me. We have tons in common, and she calls me her alter ego. We talk about our relationship and she knows how strong it is. Im not the kind of guy who looks for girls just to make out with and sleep with, im the kind of person who truly cares. I think about her all the time, and when she is happy im happy, and when she is sad i am sad. Just her being with me brings me out of the wort moods. Seeing her smile is the greatest thing in the world. I can talk to her for hours about anything and everything.
I might only be 16, but i know that this is not something everyone has... does anyone think this is very odd to feel this way at 16??

My stepfather is abusive to my mother. Recently he threatened to kill my mother and even put a loaded shotgun to her head. In all the years that they have been together (23 years) he has been threatening to kill her over the past two.
I've tried everything in my power to help my mom, I've offered to have her stay with me, I've called the police, and I've paid for her to go to counseling, to no avail. I seriously don't know what I can possibly do to help her. I'm so afraid that my stepfather will kill her, but I'm afraid of calling the police on him again because he's extremely manipulative and will convince the police that there's no problem (he's done this in the past and they live in a small town where everyone knows everyone) and I'm afraid he'll beat my mother even worse for telling me about the abuse and "causing trouble." Or he may even come after me and my husband.
I'm at my wits end and don't think that there is anything I can do to help her...any advice would be welcomed.

Is it weird to have a fancy wedding...but only one attendant on each side?

We're thinking about 150 guests and a catered reception in an old mansion....but we only want our sisters (he has one, I have one) to be our attendants...will this look strange? Our parents will be processing in with us too...
