ok i bought something for a guy i like, but he still doesnt like me back!?

i bought this really sweet guy that happens to be my ex boyfriend in which i still have feelings for, well i bought him a $60 item, and i'm in the 8th grade, but i bought him that, but he still treats me like any other person, he barely even talks to me. Help? please? how can i get him to like me back?

Try not to make ill advised decisions because you will fall. Some decisions are hard. Sometimes you even cry. Tears never stay forever though; they go away one day. I say leave that guy alone. He will be a friend of yours, but not in that way. Soon you will get over it. You are too young anyway

I did this too when I was in high school. It was a horrible decision because boys don't respond to gifts in the same way that a girl would. They take it for granted!

My best advice is to move on. You are only in 8th grade and you are so young, you will have so many more boyfriends who actually appreciate you. I know its hard but try to just start treating him like a friend and don't worry about how he feels about you.

Wow! Why on earth did you buy him anything at all? First he shows that he still loves you and wants you back, then you allow him to buy you a gift, and only then you buy a gift for him for next Christmas. Or maybe you could buy him a small present like a chocolate if he does you a huge favour. But generally it's he who's supposed to spend money on you, not the other way round. As awful as this may sound.. Its no guarntee, but try to only acknowledge his presence with a hello, or a "hey whats up", for a while. I'm sure he loves the attention that he gets from you despite the fact that he ignores you. As soon as you act as if you dont care, he'll try to get your attention.
