Today is my anniversary. My wife got new ski boots for our anniversary and she already has them. We went on a ski trip last week for our anniversary and last night went to see Trans-Siberian Orchestra. My question is, if I give her some skanky lingerie or a new toy tonight is that bad or fun?

We were together for ten years and he cheated on me. I moved out with our 8 month old baby at the time. He lives with this women in our house that we shared together. I just recently let him start seeing our daughter and we talk on the phone a lot. When he told me they had their son it bothered me and I don't know what to do. It bothers me that he has no problem of moving on with any problem. Why can't it be like that for me?

Sorry if the questions I'm about to ask seem odd but I'm just looking for a bit of advice. I'm a month off 27 and I've never had a boyfriend or been on a date but I think I'm almost ready to start moving into that area of life. However, I've got a few worries about it, so I'm hoping you can help me out. My questions are these:

1) How do you stop yourself from changing, personality-wise, when you're in a relationship? People always talk about how love changes and transforms you and I don't want to end up losing my own identity or even becoming a bad person as a result (which happened to one of my family).
2) What's the best/quickest way to get over a break-up?
3) Is it trickier to find a man if you're a virgin? I've heard lots of different stories, so I'm confused!

she is my best friend, but ever since i told her this we have had problems communicating. we still talk but the conversations hadly go anywhere, we dont talk about stuff we used to and we hardly laugh. we have tried its just not the same.
ive tried talkin to her about just random stuff but its not the same. what kind of stuff can i talk about with her to open the line of communication back?

I get the feeling that my family, assumes that I'm a lesbian or something or I can't have anyone;male. Ok, I will admit that I had some bad realationships with guys, but who hasn't? I haven't had a lot of boyfriends in high school; it's not that I'm ugly or anything. I'm a very beautiful young lady and I'm very attracting. There has been a lot of guys who have approached me, but I'm give them the cold shoulder and pass them up. I'm just chilling until, the right one comes along, but don't get me wrong; I'm lonely as hell. I ask God everyday, " When will I meet him and how?"; I'm just that desperate. I just want everyone to stop assuming that I will never have anyone and become a loner who sits at home all day and nags. I can't even imagine myself like that 5,10, or 15 years from now. How can I get this theory out of people's heads and prove to them that I am going to have a boyfriend and he's going to be worth it?

how do you put it all out there and let yourself be completely vulnerable by completly trusting another. i love my husband and he's a great guy but i have trust issues stemming from traumatic past experiences. so any tips on how to just let it go and be ok with the feeling of vulnerability that comes with complete trust? i just would hate to be one of those people who blindly trusts someone just to get hurt down the line.

okay so today my crushes mom called and asked to speak to my mom i handed her the phone and waited to here their conversation then all of a sudden my mom was like oh really do you want me to ask her hold on then she turned to me and asked if my crush can tutor me in something because he needed the hours i said no beause i was put on the spot and i didn't want him to think i was an idiot

Once he cheats (and there is no doubt about it), the relationship is over. When trust is gone, I absolutely cannot bring myself to stay in that relationship, even if he swears it will never happen again. I just cannot believe him ever again. Anyone else feel the same way? Is this unrealistic?

i have a choice of liking/going out with three guys - let's call them "bob", "joe", and "ean"

bob is nice, funny, and likes me very much. But, he is unpopular and not really all that attractive. Also, he's a little immature. I'm a little worried what people will say about me going out with him.

joe is very cute, nice, funny, and also likes me veryyy much. He tells me all the time that I'm beautiful. But, he doesn't talk to me alot. Also, he lied to a few people that he saw me naked.

ean is amazingly cute, and has an amazing music taste [the same as me]. He tells me everyday that i have beautiful eyes, and gives me that "giddy" feeling. I realllly feel a connection. The problem is that he has a long-term girlfriend, and i have heard from others that he just uses girls for sex.

My highschool coach just up and quit and in desperation my school asked one of the guys from the local college come and coach it this season. He is a senior and really really hot. I turned 18 about 3 weeks ago so it is legal. He is 21, thats only a 3 fricken year difference! I really tried hitting on him during the season but he like flipped out and would never be in the same room with me alone. But the season is over so how do I do it? I heard about this college party going on so I went last weekend hoping that he would be there. And sure engough he was! But as soon as he saw me there he seemed really pissed off. I ran over and gave him a huge hug and he was like hey listen you dont belong here. You should be haning around all your highschool friends. And then he said I better not catch you drinking either otherwise Im going to sit you out in track. But I wouldnt leave so he kinda slowly walked away from me and left the party! I was so pissed off.

Ok, when I first got engaged, I bought a ton of those brides magazines. I have quite a big stack of them, but really don't need them. Seems silly & wasteful to just throw them out.

I dont have any real friends!?
Really recently my 2 good friends that i thought were my best friends have been talking behind my back and sometimes leaving me. They each have their own different friends and I dont have any. School as a middle schooler is really hard for me and in fact im crying right now.

Im not really into clubs, so should i just be myself and not try so hard? Will I eventually find true friends?

Its not like im uncool at school, im just not the popular type.

Has anyone noticed that men have become the whipping boys of many aspects of culture? It is TOTALLY acceptable for people to berate, insult, or threaten men but women are totally protected (at least "out in the open").

Commercials abound with men who are idiots - who cannot cook, are breaking stuff/clumsy, unable to manage children, whatever. Then the intelligent woman comes in to save the day. Can you imagine the outrage if a commercial for an auto repair shop portrayed a woman as helpless and stupid in dealing with problems?

It seems that women have been taught that they should have it all - great career, fabulous house, totally obident husband, and be a great mother and everything. Problem is - these women then complain about all the work they have to do. They take it all on, and then moan about it. They neuter their husbands and render them incapable of making decisions without inciting their wrath.

Ladies - ACT like ladies. Treat men like men. We'll all be happier
