I have a dilemma, I have a friend who has an ex who has a son (from a previous girlfriend).... she recently broke up with him because he is an abusive jerk, just to keep that part short. Anyways, she tells me today that he called her last night and told her he was so drunk and high (pot) that he was laying on the floor and had to have his son bring him the phone. his son is 6 I believe.... I feel that I now have a decision to make about whether or not to call child protective services, long story short, he is a crappy father overall, and now knowing this, I feel that since nobody else feels is going to step up, I will need to be the one to do someting if I want this poor kid to get out of this situation. His mother is not the answer, she is a drug addict evidently. What would you do in a situation like this? If I call, he will accuse my friend of calling, and she will know it was me and be mad at me. in the end, I feel that his well being is more important. what to do?

When my husband asked his brother why they didnt want to have Christmas at our house again this year he said it's because his wife is allergic to our cats.
Which is a somewhat legitimate excuse except that last year we had Christmas here in our new house with all wood flooring, locked the cats up, cleaned really really well, aired out the house and when I asked my sister in law how she was doing with the allergies she insisted she was fine, that she had less problems here than in our apartment with carpet (she wasnt stuffy at all, which I can always tell she is when her cat allergies act up).
Now they dont want to have Christmas here, because of the cats. Instead, we are going to their tiny tiny condo, there is no parking (usually have to park about a mile away and have someone come pick us up) there and about 15 people to sit on one couch. I am so uncomfortable there and always end up sitting on the floor.
So my question is, should I believe the cat excuse?

It doesn't make sense. Some women claim that they have the right to a portion of their ex-husband's money, and they sometimes get it too. You never hear of a man getting any of the sex he was used to getting.

My (crazy) husband says I am addicted to towels. He thinks we have too many.

We have a set of one year old bath towels (4), hand towels (2), and wash cloths (6). We also have a four year old set of the same. And a set that my mother gave us five years ago, which are ugly. Theres also some really old ones from my previous marriage (11 years ago) and college (18 years ago). I just bought two new bath towels and two hand towels.

Our household consists of myself, my husband (crazy), and our 3 yr old. We are about to get a dog, the reason I think we need new towels to replace the oldest towels soon to be demoted to dog status.

I forgave her because she showed true remorse for her actions. The child is a year old and I love him to death; and I know he loves me. The other guy wanted nothing to do with the child and that made it easier on me. My wife and I have a great relationship now, I'm just concerned about how the child might feel as he gets older.

To me, that just leaves room for one to get to know someone else mostly at work and become intimate with them (cheating). Less time is spent with each other. Also, there's a greater chance for one or the other to choose work over family and marriage.

For example, I remember when my boss's wife needed to go to the hospital because she has cancer. He asked his boss (the owner) if he could go with his wife to the hospital. She (the owner) said, "No, if you want this job, you need to stay and work." Therefore he did, but everyone knows how much he loves his wife.

I really don't understand that, and part of that is I'm not married but thinking about it. So, I guess i'm wondering if there is a point, then how do you make it work?

My oldest daughter is going to her father's this year the day after Christmas (she is 20). It is her father and his wife's 10th wedding anniversary this year - and my daughter emailed her grandmother (his mother) to see if she wanted to help her in planning a special dinner or small get together to celebrate. Her grandmother informed her that her father and stepmother had planned a renewal ceremony for the 23rd (three days before my daughter arrives) and a reception afterwards with the family.

My daughter is angry and hurt - not just because it is happening three days before she arrived but because her father never told her about it. She is on the verge of not even going to visit, but doesn't want her sister to have to travel alone (she is 12). Her Grandmother has basically called her terrible because she is angry and upset --- but I think she has a right to be upset because it was rude/mean not to even tell her they were planning it.

I'm pregnant with my 2nd baby due in July. After I found out I told my significant other that we should get legally married. We're just common law right now. Anyway, he turned me down. He said that he does not have the money to be getting married but yet we can't afford a 2nd child either. The baby was unplanned as I was on BC. My reason for wanting to get married is so that I could have the same last name as my children, that's all. This is driving me crazy because he won't give me an answer as to why and is affecting how I feel about this baby coming along. I'm afraid it will be an issue that will split us apart. Not only that, I don't want him to marry me to appease, I want him to want to marry for the sake of our children. Am I asking too much of him? We've been together for over 4.5 yrs and had our ups and downs. Are any of you ladies going through this? Any advice would be helpful because I'm seriously doubting my relationship here, Thank Y

Ok. So one of my girl cousins was having a huge sleepover, and i decided to try and scare them, but I got caught. So they gave me a makeover/dressed me up and took a bunch of pictures. All the girls were fine with it ending there except one who said that they now have blackmail on me. She said that I now have to wear girl's panties and a bra to school until they decide otherwise, or else they will put the pics up all over the school. Plus they said I have to come over to one of their house this weekend and get dressed up, again. They wanted me to use this website to ask what I should be dressed up in. They also want you to provide links if possible.

Man, I hate my mom so much. All she does is talking about money. Everytime I have a new job, she starts calculating my paycheck and my expense and ask me to give her more money! What a b--tch! If I want an accountant, I would get one!

Does anyone here actually have negative feelings toward their mom. I have no pleasant memories of her whatsoever. I keep wondering if I would be sad if she passes away!!

When I want sex (maybe twice a month), I have no trouble getting aroused. But my husband needs it more than that, but I don't ever seem to get aroused. I'm attracted to him, and he does what I ask, but it doesn't seem to produce any physical reaction. We've tried different times of the day, touching different areas, but still nothing. And he's not happy if I don't get aroused...so of course it is causing trouble and I feel like I'm letting him down. I don't know if there is a medicine, or vitamin, or something I can take or do so that when he's ready I can get excited too. I'd really appreciate any advice from females who have ideas.

My cousin is getting married next month, it is nothing big, she became pregnant and wnats to do it before she gets too big. She had told me that the colors for the wedding were red, black and white. So I already bought my husband a black dress shirt and red tie, and I bought my daughter a really pretty red black and white dress, she will be the flower girl. She called to tell me that my husband can not wear that b/c she wants half the ppl wearing a white shirt and half wearing a red shirt. She wants to pick out my outfit...although I am only attending I'm not even a bridesmaid, and she wants a different dress for my daughter. I'm a little upset about it because she had said before just anything with those three colors would be fine, and now that I bought two of the outfits she wants something else. Should she really be in charge of what we wear? Should I just shut up and go along with it or show up in what I want, granted I still be wearing the three colors she wants?

this guy is about 22 years older then me(i'm 18)but he is in really good shape and makes me feel really good. I mean I love him but he treats me like **** and he treats his ex like that too. What should I do? Forget him or try and work things out? His thinking is that as long as I give him all the sex he needs then he will treat me good and I will be taken care of.
