we're also going to play i wanna grow old with you by adam sandler after the first dance. it completely fits our personalities and its just a romantic, yet not too mushy song. =]

I love Songbird (Eva Cassidy version), To Make You Feel My Love (Garth Brooks), Better Together (Jack Johnson), Bless The Broken Road (Rascall Flatts) and By Your Side (Sade). There's also Feels Like Home which might be pretty common but has been sung by many different artists (Bonnie Raitt, Chantal Kreviasuk) and is a beautiful wedding song. Congratulations and good luck!

There is no such thing as an "original" wedding song, since 99% have probably been used already. Make it something that is unique to the two of you. Find a Meatloaf song that is wedding appropriate (might have to go back to the original Bat out of Hell) or use the Bad English song--it's older and it's original for the two of you and holds special meaning. Do whatever feels right for the two of you.

Usually an original wedding song is a song that a celebrity or well known singer has not picked up. The music & lyrics are original to the person or persons who hold the copyright.

Try something from an alternative band like Blue October (18th Floor Balcony), or Sister Hazel (alot of good songs). Also, OAR is a good one. Any bands that not everyone has heard of.

My husband and I danced to "Green Eyes" by Coldplay....it was absolutely amazing and truly special. He said the first time he heard that song he was drawn to it because the words were exactly how he felt about me....and I have green eyes! It is a beautiful song....yet you should have the green eyes...lol!
