There will never be a right answer to this. Men and women both cheat. I guess it would be up to how much that person loved the one that they were with and whether or not a fling is worth losing them. It also depends on the morals of that person

In my experience its 50, 50 both are liable to cheat. I know too many idiots who cheat. And some of these people are with wonderful people who are attractive, have good income, a said good sex life, yet they choose to jepodise that by having it off with a third party. I will never understand that, better to split up for whatever reason than string people along.
