this guy is about 22 years older then me(i'm 18)but he is in really good shape and makes me feel really good. I mean I love him but he treats me like **** and he treats his ex like that too. What should I do? Forget him or try and work things out? His thinking is that as long as I give him all the sex he needs then he will treat me good and I will be taken care of.

Sweetie, you need to read what you just wrote. You are contradicting yourself.
An asshole would not make you feel good. You would not call him an asshole if he really made you feel good. He should be treating you right regardless of whether you are having sex with him or not. If he treats you and his ex badly, then there's a good chance he treats all his girlfriends badly.
He's too old for you...you're in different life stages. If he's treating women like crap there's a good reason why he's single at age 40. He's also using you for sex.
It's time to dump this guy and find someone who treats you right.

At 18 years old I wasn't the sharpest knife in the draw but I did know when I was out of my element. There is no future doing the same thing that has failed countless time before in history.
The measure of a good thing is how balanced the relationship is between the players. You can think this one through on your on! There is no pluses in you association with someone whom by your definition is an asshole.
Save yourself for a deserving equal. Give this jerk the Dear John speech, and do it now!!!

What you should do is get away from him all together. Your still young go out and experience life. Don't tie yourself down with this a--hole. He's using you for his own personnel gratification.
