First off - let me state that I have NO problem with interracial couples... several of my firends are in interracial marriages....

However - within my group of friends and work-mates, etc... I have noticed a few "stereotypes" to the interracial couple....

I'd like to know if you find this to be true and if so, WHY you think it is true ?

Stereotype #1 -

Most black / white couples are made up of a black man and a white woman. Very rarely is it the other way around - especially if the female is very dark skinned. I have only known ONE black woman / white male couple in my life and the gal was so light she could have easily passed for Hispanic or Med. / Persian pretty easily.

Stereotype #2 -

Most Asian / White couples consist of a white man with an Asian female. Rarely does a white gal end up with an Asian guy. Why ?

Stereotype #3 -

Most Latin / Hispanic / white couples seem to be a L/H male with a w/ gal. L/H gals seem to stay w/ their own race. Why?

uhm, is this abuse of any sort or something?
well my mom is normal, [seemingly] sometimes.
like the usual thought of what a mom would seem,
but sometimes she loses her temper and starts cussing at me or whoever and she'll just get frustrated [i wish i could smack her mouth shut].
right now, my little forgot to defrost a frozen chicken thing we were gonna eat tonight she forgot to take it out of the freezer is all then when my mom got home she went into idiot mode.
she just screamed and cussed at my sister and slapped her on the back of her head.
she does this often WHEN she is ANGRY,
but it's not like a daily thing she does on purpose to hurt us purposefully.
uhm i was just wondering, first of all, she's an idiot, and second, does she need anger management or something?
and when we did tell someone on her once, that she abuses us, she always responds 'oh i'm just trying to discipline them, oh i would never hurt them, oh blah'
and she cries
ugh i'm sick of this, what do i do?

My boyfriend and I have been together for two years. We were engaged. He said numerous times that he was worried, I was cheating, or he felt like he was using me. This past May I was filling out some job apps online for him through his email (he asked me too) and noticed an email from a singles website announcing new matches for him. So I confronted him and he said he was doing it b/c he thought I was thinking about breaking up with him. He said he would stop. Then in July I broke up with him, b/c the relationship had become so stressful and nothing was being solved. Two weeks later, we got back together. It was my idea b/c I realized how much I loved him. We were together for about a month. Then one night he started acting weird. He would be on the cell phone with me then his house phone would ring and he’d sound really excited to hear from the person. Then he hung up on me and wouldn’t answer my calls. Finally later that night he did. He told me it was his friend from work who was selling him a car. But I knew differently b/c he had just gotten off work with this friend..soo they could have talked about it there plus the person selling him the car..was a male and he doesn’t adopt that tone of voice with men. It used to only be for me…So I got on our phone bill website we share minutes etc and looked up the number and found out it was a woman he called and talked to during our two week break. So I went to his place and confronted him with it. He said he was sorry. Then two days later he broke up with me saying I deserved better. And I was like okay I love you but I don’t need this. WE agreed clean break and that would be it. Then two weeks later I find out he is bugging my sister for news about me..Then he calls me and say he loves me. So I still love him but I tell him we can’t have any lies or anything and we have to go slow. He agrees and we start to try over. That lasts for about nine days. Then I call him and I am worried b/c he has a dentist appt for oral surgery then he tells me that we are too much alike and that we should just be friends. That was out of the blue. Soo..i expected something was up…THEN last Saturday him and I got into a huge fight. I told him I thought he had been cheating all along and for the first time we called each other names like ***** and asshole etc..And yes we were broken up at the time I just informed him I didn’t think I could be friends with someone who was cheating..and I really thought he had been..Then Monday night we were talking and we both said we were sorry etc. and thought we’d try to make it work again. Then he told me that he had had sex with this girl he met Saturday night whom he had been talking to for a week. He said he did it to get back at me. I wanted to believe him. So I said we could talk maybe make it work he comes over and he is so upset that he did it. And we talk talk talk then he pushed to have sex but I got nauseous b/c he had just been with this other girl. You know? So we stopped. I mean I broke down and sobbed b/c it seemed like it wasn’t a big deal to him. He beat himself up over it so we talked so more..and we did eventually have sex..My fault, his, and I instantly regretted it. But oh well. Well me and this girl he had had sex with Saturday night got to talking on yahoo im. She told me that he was the one who initiated it b/c she didn’t like to make the first move. She said they had sex Sunday night and that he kept pushin and pushin her for sex the night before. She said it seemed like Sunday night was pretty much a booty call. But he told me that it happened Saturday and that she intiated it. She said he enjoyed himself he said he didn’t. he said he took a shower and left. She said they took a shower together snuggled more and joked around then he left b/c she practically had to kick him out of the house. I know him and that sounds like what he does.. he loves to shower together and snuggle. So all in all he lied more. NOW I don’t know if I can take this….me and the chick are planning on calling him out on it tonight. I think he had sex with her to have sex but I think he wanted to make a relationship with her but if so then why did he want to get back with me and is willing to do so? He knows he can’t have her on his side..i’m one of those people who if I suspect something is wrong I don’t give up till I know for sure….and I always find out sometimes later rather than sooner…I have known all along about phone calls to other women, personal ads, etc now I know about her..now I am just wondering if there were more before her. I did get std testing done..so ..

Okay my cousin coiuld hardly wait to get married. She knew she wanted a doctor and she knew he had to be of the same culture and religion...all this since she was little mind you. She is now a doctor herself and is married to a doctor of the same culture and religion (she chased him) but what gets my goat...is that she has to show off for everything...even when she was a kid she always had to have the new outfit for every occasion...and of course we were jealous because she was always so stylish...but what I don;t get is that when she started dated her now husband she immediately bought a faux diamond wedding band and even after they married she still wears and yes she does not let on that it is fake...even though we all remember when she bought it. Is that wierd that she still wears it?? I know I should not care but it just seems strange to me.

My husband is in the Navy... He comes home in a couple of months and I would love to plan something special... Maybe a family vacation with our boys also. What would be romantic for the two of us... And something nice for the family (Our twins are 1.5)? I was thinking we could go some place out of town... And great spots you can suggest? Should I leave him!! My friend left her phone at our house and my boyfriend was to drop it to her because I had to go to work maybe I was dumb but I didnt think nothing of it! At any rate he went through her phone text messages and seen a text that I sent to her it said "I am going to ______ house" (yes its a guy) okay I only went to his house to check out the apartment because he asked me to roommate with him! i am 17 years old just so u can know.yesterday afterschool i went to kfc to pick up my uniform & the manger told me i start working on friday so i came home & told my dad that i worked to work but i really didnt but since he didnt know i put on my uniform & i went to my b/f house but my dad thought i was at work so he went to my work cuz i forgot my kfc hat in my room so he went to take it to me but the employees told him i dont work their & at 9pm i called him to pick me up from work & he said he was outside my job & they told him i dont work so he made me go to kfc & in front of the employees he told them that i told him that i had to work & the employees told him that i dont that i start friday & it was so embarassing so can i get fired for that or will i get a warning or something well

Ok im a guy and im 17 years old, and i need help on what to do when a girl is like getting all touchy with you and is kinda cuddling with you at school or at some other location other than home. And heres the tough part, how do i control or hide what goes down in my pants so that she doesnt notice because im not sure how when girls get all close to other guys and sit right on their laps and the girl doesnt say anything or "go" omg i actually got him up and start laughing. Today during passing periods i would catch my boyfriend glancing at his ex-girlfriend whenever she passed by. He lied to me and told me during his lunches and open periods he goes and drives off somewhere in his car, i got the news today that he was seen hanging out with her. He lied basically. Then today he asked me a question "if i threw you over this staircase would you be mad?" After he stopped looking at his ex-girlfriend. I got really offended as to why he'd even WANT to throw me down or over a staircase of any kind. I'm tired of this girl getting in the way of our relationship. Also, do all guys check out other women even if they're happily married/in a relationship? I mean is it possible for a guy to truly have no desire to even look because he is in love with one girl only? It seems like that doesn't exist but I have heard about guys like that. I know this may be a confusing question I can clarify though.

i think that my dad might be cheating on my mom.
hes ws writing a letter once, and it said dear like cindy XOXO really big, and evertime i came into the room, he would click it down. also he drinks a lot. and he has his own buisness, and most of his customers are females. i dont know what the letter was, mabye it was just a joke or something. he also goes on the phone alot outside when my mom isnt home. and i went out there once, and he didnt say the persons name, and he kinda shooed me away.
i really dont know what to think because i dont want this to happen, and i keep on denying it, but it just seems so real. i really dont knwo what to do, and it stays on my mind a lot. i dont want my life to change.
please someone just say something that will make me feel better.

My boyfriend and I have been together for 1.5 years. We're both 20 years old. Last year we spent every moment together, and he'd always write me sweet letters, and I felt like he TRULY cared and loved me. It's different now. He's always busy to hang out. It's not like he's ditching me for friends, but he's busy with work and homework. I suggest we work on it together, but he doesn't want to. I used to feel that I was his #1 priority, and he says I still am, but it doesn't seem like it. When I compare how he was last year to this year it's different. He still calls me everyday and talks with me everyday. He doesn't want to break up at all. I sit around and wait for him to hang out with me, and he says he doesn't want that for me. He says he loves me, but he doesn't need to act desperate. I still do see him everyday. I guess he's just not as "head over heels" as he was. He says part of that is my fault because I get so moody and take him for granted. Is he falling out of love?

One of my best friends does pot. You can tell sometimes that he is high. My cousin does pot and I dont want him to end up like him. I care ALOT about him.
