One of my best friends does pot. You can tell sometimes that he is high. My cousin does pot and I dont want him to end up like him. I care ALOT about him. Me and my other friends tell him not to but he says he does it because it makes him feel good. He is an amazing friend, so i dont want drugs to affect that. What should I do?

Find out where your good friend is coming from. If he shows signs of addictive behavior (yes, pot can have a psychological addiction) then you might want to encourage him to get some help.

If it's a once-in-a-while thing, then it doesn't seem like a big deal, and you can just tell him not to show up at dinner stinking of weed and acting like Shaggy from Scooby-Doo.

If your friend is getting high all the time, then he's turned it into a lifestyle that he can't live without; he doesn't know how to handle day-to-day stress without being high. That's a sign of a psychological addiction. Tell him to cut that stuff out of his life, get some help, or cut him loose.

if he isnt and addict its not that big of a deal and you shouldnt worry about it, i mean if he just smokes it a parties or with his friends once and a while just let it go and dont make a big deal out of it (a lot of my guy-friends smoke pot) but if he is an addict and it is getting to be a serious danger to his health than i would tell a trusted adult....he will end up hating you for telling though, but in the long run he might be glad you did.

All you can do is tell your friend how much you dislike that he uses pot.
Whether or not he will stop will be up to him. Then you will have to decide whether or not you want to remain friends with him if he continues to use it.
Whatever you do, don't compromise your standards, and don't fall into peer pressure to smoke pot yourself. You should feel proud of yourself for not following the same paths your friends take.
Good luck!

Usually, when someone starts doing drugs its because of a problem. Find that problem and try your best to fix it.Chances are hes addicted so it might still be hard to get him clean even after uv solved that problem. If its very serious you may have to tell him its either YOU or the DRUGS.

He may be amazing, but he has problems. You are wise to stay away when he is high. Start looking for another way to spend your time because it sounds like your friend is headed down the road to nowhere and will take you with him. Its a shame to see your friends go that way, but you are not God and you can't fix the world. Just keep yourself clean and focused.

Has he told you why he needs it to feel good? He may have some problems that you can help him solve another way. Find things he enjoys and help him to branch out w/them and maybe he'll find that he loves to do something enough to stop w/the pot. I knew a girl that functioned well but still LIVED AT HOME!!! and she was 25 bless her heart.

friends on drugs wont listen untill something bad happends to him.
It sounds horrible but tell him as long as he does drugs, he cant have you as a friend, and that he can't count on you.
Let him fall a couple of times on his own, so he can realize he's alone when he's high.
It hurts to loose ur friends to drugs, but you'll be better off in the long run.

I don't know how old you are, but drugs have a way of separating out friends. Be there, be his friend, but I would definatly distance himself. If he is carrying with you there, if a cop sees it or gets suspicious because of his activity...you could get busted with an MIP.

As for the cousin, tell your aunt or just let it go.
