He is married, I am divorced, we both realize we can't be more than friends. He said he is my friend for life and even if he got a new job, he'd still meet for coffee and stay in contact because true friendship lasts forever no matter the circumstance. I don't understand why he is suddenly saying it has to be a work friendship. In the past when he gets really busy he has blown me off, but then a week or two goes by and everything is cool again. Wondering if this is just a repeat of past events and he'll still be my good friend despite what he said in a not so nice manner the other day... I never even did anything wrong!!

She's a real girly girl. She likes The Jonas Brothers, shopping, taking pictures, going to the nail salon, dancing, baking, ect. She has an ipod and a cell phone already. She loves the tv show Friends on TBS. But I don't want to give her a gift card or money though. She's not really into playing video games or being outside too much.

What does it mean?

I asked my bf why his mom and his dad divorced. He said it was because of the fact that his dad cheated on his mom. I have noticed the same behavior in my bf. I dont know if he has actually cheated or not BUT the tendencies are there. Do you know what I am saying? Meaning I will catch him trying to cheat BUT not actually getting the job done. So, my question is, is my bf this way because his father was? I mean I have never heard of something such as cheating being hereditary.

I met this girl about 9 years ago and she strongly believes we are distant relatives, I feel it's possible. Now here's the thing, we were among some people and I introduced her as my friend. She said, "no I'm not, I'm your cousin". I said to the people, "we are distant cousins"..because I didn't want it to seem like we were first cousins or soemthing because we are not. But, I feel more comfortable introducing her as "friend" and then when I get to know the person better, tell them our family connection. Anyways, she became really upset I didn't introduced her as cousin. I brought it up and apologized to her. However, I felt she was being a bit too sensitive and I felt embarrased when she stormed away and said to my friend that she was upset I called her "friend" instead of cousin, instead of privately coming to me. What do you guys thnk about this?

He ran away into their yard, while they were having a swimming pool party. They started screaming and running away, and he thought it was a game, and happily chased them. He chased three guests into the swimming pool in evening wear (I think it was stupid of them dress up in evening wear for a swimming pool party anyway), and the neighbours do not speak to me anymore.
And it was not his fault. He just wanted to be more fit, and exercise more, and run large distances. Then, if they did not start running away, he'd never followed.
He just wanted to be friendly, and to cheer them all up. He is very sociable. He likes swimming pool parties, and meeting new people.
What is their problem?

It’s hard to find the right words,
To say what is in my heart

I don’t know where the end will lead,
But you are in the start

It all started when I saw you,
My heart it beat so fast

I knew deep down inside my soul,
That joyous moment it would last

Getting to know you only increased,
My hearts feelings of love

On a gloomy day of despair,
You shine like a morning dove

Your beauty is like a rose,
The second it begins to bloom

Your smile is luminescent,
Lighting up the darkest room

Your eyes are like stars,
Picked right from the night

They are like diamonds,
Shining O’ so bright

But the brightest thing about you,
It’s your personality

It is like my heart is a locked door,
And you are the key

And every time you laugh,
I swear an angel plays a note

The stunning sound which comes off that harp,
Cannot even be wrote

And now that you know my secret,
I am really beggin’

Would you like to spend some time with me?
I really love you, Megan

OK, why do people who loved eachother, when the relationship fails, need to walk away entirely, hate eachother, and cut all ties.

this excludes the initial seperatio, non-communication period after the relationship to heal.

If you loved eachother, there was a reason, compatability etc. Why not rebuild as friends, or at least acknowledge eachother?

It just doesn't make sense to me to throw away people whom you know so well and would make great friends. What are the reasons....is it just easier....most relationships fail eventually, why not continue to get something from them?

When a man and a woman get married, there should be a law on the books that says that each one of them needs to have an escrow account with $10,000 dollars for each of them, established in the bank before they can tie the knot. For the first ten years of marriage, the state government should be in charge of those accounts, and if the couple wants a divorce, they can have all the money back except for whatever number of years they didn't stay married.

For example: a couple who only stays married two years will get a rebate of $2000 dollars, three years - $3000 and so on. Whatever the balance is, the state should get to keep it and use it for school and road improvements, etc.

A couple who makes it past the ten-year mark should be rewarded, and the state should match their account dollar-for-dollar so that they get back $20,000 each. That's $40,000 for the kids' college fund, a new house, whatever they want.

Any couple who divorces in less than a year should lose it all.
