Oh yeah I knwo what you mean. I can't speak on behalf of the parents but I'm in secondary school and the uniform costs alot of money. But I like to keep up with all the fashions and my parents don't mind... too much!

No public schools for ours. They are tutored in our home, and carry 4.0 GPAs.
Public schools have become havens for gang violence, and we chose not to risk our girls' lives any further.
We can go to work now, feeling confident that there are no other monsters lying in wait with guns, knives, and ill-intent to attack, rape or kill our children.
We feel badly that they won't have the benefit of diverse relationships as was normal back in the 'safe days', but they have many friends, and we don't shield them from the world. Just public schools.
They have unfortunately become the most dangerous places in America, and we are very disappointed that our government has allowed things to get so bad.
Our girls are home safe, yet they visit museums, planetariums, bakeries, laboratories, etc. and will be fine, upstanding members of the community; educated, strong, and prepared for life.
It is good to have that bit of stress eliminated from our lives.
17 kids were stabbed, shot and attacked the last year we had them in their public school, and those were only the ones that were reported. Four are dead now.
We prefer our kids to be alive.

Don`t get me started pleasssssssse i have 5 daughters X5 uniforms at £35.00 just for blazers lol I think i`d better plant another money tree or ask for a raise.someone said £200.00 is a lot but that is easily spent at my daughters school they have to have school blazer, sweatshirt, shorts,pe shirt, rugby shirt, swimming costume, track suit bottoms all with the school logo on them and you can only purchase them at the school. They must have black coats,Trainers, socks, shoes and bags. Then you have to get folders, pens ect.

Bonjour madam

Well not as expensive as sending kids to univeristy nowadays, but hey got a few years before that, lol, as afr as sending my daughter back to school, 100% , she loves, it and children need to develop themselves during this time.
instead of waking me up in the mornings by tickling my feet and wanting to go shopping everyday.

My 5 year old went back today not a moment too soon lol

Uniforms should be cheaper nowadays as schools arent allowed to insist you buy from them (in the UK as far as I know). Lots of cheap options available in Woolies, supermarkets etc.

I am thrilled beyond words - now if only they attended for 7 complete hours without all these mini days and odd qtr hour release times (ah well).
Wish my kids had uniforms their school clothes ran me way over that.
