I gotta agree with 'missy me' with regard to the giving out of your mail on here. Thats a very interesting question. Firstly, you did not mention having sex with the same sex or the opposite sex, as you just mentioned "with someone" and that some one could be same sex as you. Since you are 27 and still virgin, this means you are a male. HAHAHAHAHA..damn.
Buddy I am a male too and was virgin till i was 24 and had the same question on my mind then. So take peace in this that you are not the only one in this state.
Well let me tell you, the thing is sex different from masterbating. The first time you panetrate you will say to your self, damn man where the hell was i before( and think not in a hole) and this hole is good. But then later on after several years of it you would say those days were good too when i would sit infront of tv with my pants down. hahaha. i think enough of this. In plain simple words its alright and that is if you are straight. If you are gay then i have no idea. check with some one else.
