He ran away into their yard, while they were having a swimming pool party. They started screaming and running away, and he thought it was a game, and happily chased them. He chased three guests into the swimming pool in evening wear (I think it was stupid of them dress up in evening wear for a swimming pool party anyway), and the neighbours do not speak to me anymore.
And it was not his fault. He just wanted to be more fit, and exercise more, and run large distances. Then, if they did not start running away, he'd never followed.
He just wanted to be friendly, and to cheer them all up. He is very sociable. He likes swimming pool parties, and meeting new people.
What is their problem?

i laughed so hard that people would actually jump in the pool with good clothes on and they are the ones that are stupid. it was funny and i think the pig was having fun and thought it was neat. i liked it and hey if they don't ever talk to you again you are the lucky one they are missing life and fun.

Even though your pig was just playing you should have offered too cover any damages - just as if your dog had ruined their party. It is important to control your pets so they do not become pests - write your neighbor a note of apology and offer to pay for the damages. Then get a better pen and track for your pig so he does not ruin any other neighbors parties. It is your responsibility to take care of and control your pet - be a good pet owner and apologize to your neighbor.

Well I understand your frusturation cutie, but you have to realize something. You may look at the pig with love and compassion and view him/her as your friend and as a living being with a soul..Where as on the flip side your neighbors may look at him in the exact opposite way..That pigs are for eating, they are not companions or friends and that animals are to be used by humans any way that they wish. Sounds like your neighbors view pigs and animals as being inferior or less valuable than than the way that you view your friend the pig! You could possibly apologize to them but its not going to help, because they will still not understand the connection you have with a pig. They will just see you as being a silly kid who screwed up thier party...I would just move on and not let your friend the pig outside in thier yard anymore. Dont worry, talk to your friends who understand you and quite possibly they can help you out. Let me know how it turns out cutie! Good luck to you and your friend the pig!

Not everyone is going to feel the same as you do about your pet, whether it's a pig, dog, cat whatever. Did you apologize to your neighbors? That might have gone a long way to fix the situation.

Well you just make sure your pig stays with you at all times. And your neighbors dont have to like you as you dont have to like them. Who cares if they dont speak to you at all. I once moved into a neighborhood where only 40% of the people spoke to me. I didnt care what-so-ever.
Dont worry about it but watch your pig.

Are you talking about the two legged variety (IE your husband/boyfriend) or do your mean the pink ones with a tail and four legs??

In either case you shouldn't let him into the neighbors yard that was very bad manners...but very funny!

Awwww...he sounds so cute.
I think your neighbors are stuffy, but maybe you can apologize to them anyway. If it doesn't work...oh well..your pig had fun and if your neighbors are gonna be weenies about it (no pun intended..hehehe) then just ignore them!
:o)
