Has the person having a child been the reason for you not getting in that relationship? & why

I would have to say yes. At least in my experience, when I met a woman with a child, it automatically is in my mind that she is going to want a father figure for her child. Someone to help contribute and help her out. This isn't always true however. Ive met women that had kinds and specifically said they are not looking for a dad or w/e. So that's not a problem but... The fact that we cant have a normal relationship is. Its hard to go out on dates, or spend alone time together or even have sex. Aside from that, its hard on the child when there is different guys in its life all the time. Having a kid is def a setback in the dating world but you'll be ok. there are plenty of guys out there that ARE ok with it or even want that.

The most basic answer would be that most parents are kid crazy. They can't go and have fun for more then ten seconds with out worrying about the kid. And even if they can let go for an hour, it will still be there hanging over their head. So after the hour they must rush home and be with the kid.
Then there is the whole problem with making plans. Guy want to go out on a date on one day, parent can't because of (fill in the blank) kid.
And on top of that, it's hard to get alone time with a parent. Again, it will only take ten seconds for the kid to interrupt. Kids can't just go play or anything...they have to bother mom's new friend.
So yes a small kid is a good reason not to have a relationship.
The only way it works for most guys is if the woman put the guy first and the kid second. Naturally, few parent do that...

Depends, on your age and how do you feel about taking on that commitment remembering that the mother comes with a package. Also do not be so into the child that you do not want personal time with the mother. Remember, children can tell if a person is sincere or being fake a whole lot better than adults so if you are going to take on someone with a child you have to be sincere. There are certain boundaries in the relationship that you are going to have to learn to respect and that is parenting comes first, and that child came from two not one.

It's really no deal at all. I'm more interested in what type of woman "mom" is. I appreciate she has a big responsibility being a Mom,, and there are allowances that will have to be made.
Men don't get nervous about a woman with children,, boys... they're likely to run like scared rabbits..
