OK Im from the north and my bf is from the south and his sister tells him to break up with me becuz she says all northerners are contaminated with STDS.. wtf.. she keeps going on calling me a yankee... wtf im from the WEST not Newyork.. Why is she doing this..?

Prejudice is taught and its stupid but you never realize how stupid until you are on the receiving end...
what difference does it make if you're from the West or New York. Are YOU saying that people in New York are contaminated with STD's because thats not true. I was born and raised in New York and I don't have an STD.
You see how easy it is to just judge and label someone maybe if you stop they will just stop also.

She is just being difficult and narrow minded. If you are serious about the guy you will have to learn to deal with the family. Ask your BF if there is anything you can do to get to know her so she will stop saying these hateful things - maybe you can send her tickets to a movie and babysit or something nice to show her evil isn't going to make you disappear. Maybe she just doesn't like you and thinks your boyfriend is an idiot. I'm from the north too and if either of us were "contaminated" with something I think that both of us would know about it.
So, I think she just has something againt you.

Sounds like his sister doesn't like you. Do you know her personality, if not maybe you should try to know her . and depending on how old she is, you should tell your bf that this behavior bothers you and see if he can resolve the situation how in mature anyhow
