My 9 year old stepson has multiple disabilities--severe retardation, cerebral palsy, seizure disorder, non-verbal. He is however, able to walk, laugh & smile. He is LOUD (squawking, shrieking, squealing), chews his hands constantly, licks just about everything and smears saliva on every object he eventually touches. It's repulsive to watch him being fed---he spreads food and drink all over his face, hair, etc. He takes crushed medication with each meal and typically doesn't chew or swallow foods very quickly ---lots of "seafood" going on. His presence in our house---when visiting (he lives primarily with his mom) causes me to be edgy and irritable. It's grotesque. I'm sorry that the truth is so blunt, but it's true. My husband wipes his face and hands with the kitchen towels and cloths. I hide clean cloths that I feel I can use because the thought of sharing his germ-infested items is revolting. His shrieking is so unnerving-- it feels like nails on a chalk board. It's hard to accept.

I am an African american male I go to Highschool and i just became a sophmore and im 15 there this one red head asian girl i like alot. i talk to her alot on aim and we have good conversations and sophmore year just started its been the 3rd day already i seen her but im to nervous to say hi and she said hi to me last freshmen year. My friends are friends with her aswell but i also have a fear of rejection and every girl i asked out since 7th had rejected me or were taken or liked sombody else.Some times im told im ugly but i think im avarage looking. I even posted a question on this site saying am i ugly most people said i was avarage looking. like im not hella hella hot but not ugly either. How do i ask this girl out im really scared of her rejecting me i also want to know her better so she wont reject me saying she hardly knows me.

My 18 year old brother got really really drunk at a party, passed out in a closet in someone's basement. When the cops came he wouldnt wake up, so he got sent to the hospital, where the doctors called our house at 3 am and my mom had to go pick him up. This happened in June. Im kinda worried because after that he hasnt been the same. He yells at me a lot and cusses me out. He doesnt care about anything! Im almost 15 going to be a freshman and i want to talk to him and tell him that what he did was wrong and hurt his girlfreind (well now his ex) and his family that loves him. Any tips?

There's a girl at work that I like, but she's older (I'm 25, she's 37) and has a boyfriend. I've heard rumors around the office that she's having problems with her relationship plus I catch her looking at me sometimes, then she turns away real fast when I look up, like in high school or something. It's hard for us to talk because we both seem nervous around each other. She's not talkative, but seemed to go out of her way lately to talk to me and seemed a bit frustrated when I didn't pay a lot of attention to her. I thought she was trying to find out if I was single, but when I told her I was she brought up her boyfriend again, but at the same time she seemed happy to know I was single. I'm considering offering to buy her a drink one day after work as pay back for giving me advice on finding a new apartment, but I don't want to be too forward just in case. Is she in to me? What should I do? I'm pretty much falling in love with this girl.

I have been friends with this individual for three years. we work together and talk about our problems. I changed from the shift she was working at to another. even though we are not working together anymore, I still kept calling her and talking to her. I used to talking to her about my problems and she the same. but lately every time I call her. she talks about her problems I listen to her but when I start talking my problems she cuts me off by saying I will call you right back. what do you do to person like this? i drive his mercedes and spend a lot of his money but he say's he does not want a relationship yet. i love him and want to marry him. he wont say to me i love you he's with his boys on the weekend to relax he says. this man has been in my life for over 19 years we started being lovers three years ago. is he just shy or undecided. he is devorced with one son in college. how do i get closer to him without running him away i live alone and i lost my job after my husband died and have been doing my own business with his help i am able to keep my apartment. we live in different areas of the city i want to be with him more and talk to him more but he's all about business. i am all about loving him but he wont stay around me long enought to talk after we wake up he is out of here. what to do. somebody know any magic

hey every-one i just need some advice. My step - dad who is pretty much my real dad passed away too months ago..i am having so many problems. when my brother and uncle died i was able to let go after about a month and accept it...i still think of them a lot. with my dad he has been gone for about 2 months and everything reminds me of him. i see someriding there bike i think of him smoking i think of him they dont even have to be doing anything and i look at someone and i think of him. every where i go everything reminds me of him. He's the only thing or person on my mind. I ve been trying so hard just to let go and move on but i cant do it. I pretend that i am fine and just act normal but inside i am crying i just wanna lock myself in a room and cry. but i cant i have a son to take off...please help what can i do to help me move on?

she gave me all the dates because her and her boyfriend broke up for a week and in that week she slept with another guy unprotected so anyway i worked out that the date she slept with the other guy she was ovulating and her and her partner tried for 2 years to have a baby and were never successful now she is 12 weeks pregnant and she wont believe me that its the other guys baby and not her boyfriends because if it was her boyfriends she would be 15 weeks and 5 days instead of 12 weeks today it is so frustrating what should i do she asked me for the truth and i gave it to her

I am in the market for an engagment ring. So far I have been to mostly chain stores and a few smaller, non chain stores. I am told that I should not buy from a typical chain store, one that you can find anywhere in the country. I should purchase my engagment ring from a non-chain type of jewelry store. One that is independent, etc. Any ideas why? They all claim to have far superior better quality than chain stores for the money.

I LOST IT!!! i dont know hwat has happened these days but i cant be at my house without someone yelling at me, bothering me, cursing (insulting)... i really try to me patience and just dont say anything but i got to the pint that i just cant handle it anymore!!!! i`m always fighting with my sisters, as much as i try not to fight, they always start and i end up arguing with them. my mom an dad are almost all the time yelling or mad, my 14 year old sister is a brat who thinks she`s superior, she always wants everythinhg her way and she is so inmature, hiting my little sisters, cursing, yelling, rebel, i cant stand her anymore. dont get me wrong, i do love my sister but she makes me want to leave home!!! i dont stand her! i dont want to figh, i dont want to argue, i dont know if this is a phase or something but lately `ve been losing my patience easily. i dont know what to do!! please, if you have any advice, i would appreciate it. its like i cant live in my own home!

after shacking up for over six months, with sex several times a week, she gave me permission to enter her ANYTIME, that she is asleep or seems to be asleep, as long as her "portal" is in a position that would not disturb her excessively.

Several weeks ago, though, I woke up with her straddling me and yanking on me, so bad, I thought I was being attacked by a horde of nymphomaniac aliens.

Now we're having a huge fight over "turn about is fair play"! She claims I'm a hypocrite, but she simply doesn't understand that unlike women, who don't have to be sexually stimulated for intercourse, I, as a middle-aged guy, need lots of time and foreplay ( and sometimes Viagra) to get my motor running.

How can I explain to her that the situation isn't symmetrical, without her coming unglued?

I have yet to achieve an orgasm. I am 24 and have been sexually active since about 16. I am in a relationship now, but it is hard to even begin to think about an orgasm because my boyfriend has become increasingly selfish and has given up on the idea that I am even able to ***.

Why is Japan's birth rate declining? I read this in my monthly "Chatelaine" magazine.

"Forty percent of 16-49 year olds haven't had sex in the past month (Could that explain the country's declining birth rate?)"

So if I wanted to marry a Japanese man and live in Japan, would that mean that I would have a "once-a-month sex life" or less?

So my fiance thinks we should spend $3,000 on photography and not have an open bar. I think we should have our 2 friends (both great photographers) do the photos and have an open bar. Please note that I am NOT a drinker, I just think a big day calls for a celebration. Plus, 2 couples are driving over 1,000 miles to be at the wedding, all at their expense. Oh, by the way, even if our friends mess up the photos, we are still having a videographer there so we it's not like we wouldn't have any documentation of our wedding if the pics turned out horrible

my mother is saying she simply has "given up on me" and that i should move out if i please, and i said "where do i move to?" and she replies "well your the one who was so smart to come up with that idea then you can figure it out yourself."

PLEASE give me your opinions on the following situation:
My parents got way mad...

My boyfriend left on friday for college. We texted everyday and are in love and missed each other a lot. Tuesday, the second day of classes I decided to drive an hour to his college with a friend who went there too and visit. We spent the afternoon together and then I came back home to a very angry father. My brother knew about it and my mom knew but my dad said I needed to take permission first. Also, he says its not very respectful for a girl to get up and go run to a boy like that.
So what does the world think?
