There's a girl at work that I like, but she's older (I'm 25, she's 37) and has a boyfriend. I've heard rumors around the office that she's having problems with her relationship plus I catch her looking at me sometimes, then she turns away real fast when I look up, like in high school or something. It's hard for us to talk because we both seem nervous around each other. She's not talkative, but seemed to go out of her way lately to talk to me and seemed a bit frustrated when I didn't pay a lot of attention to her. I thought she was trying to find out if I was single, but when I told her I was she brought up her boyfriend again, but at the same time she seemed happy to know I was single. I'm considering offering to buy her a drink one day after work as pay back for giving me advice on finding a new apartment, but I don't want to be too forward just in case. Is she in to me? What should I do? I'm pretty much falling in love with this girl.

awwww....how cute. But doesn't it scare you that when you are in your late 30's, your woman will be in her 50's?

First you better find out what the rules of the office is on dating co-workers. Second you need to ask yourself if you and her start something and it doesn't work out are you going to be able to work with her and see her everyday if she breaks your heart. Third if she is with someone now why even go there. You are setting yourself up. And finally you are not falling in love with her. You haven't even spoken to her so how could you be in love? You may have feelings towards her and would like to explore them but you have to at least speak to someone to be in love with them

It's every older womans fantasy to be seduced by a younger man.

You've already caught the fish - time to reel her in.

Be foward, be confident - approach her with the notion that she's already yours.

You sound like you are on the right track, just do it. The worst that can happen is she says no and you are back where you are today, nowhere.

Good luck fella

56 year old dino here says "CAUTION WITH THIS ONE, SOUNDS A BIT MANIPULATIVE TO FEED HER EGO" It isn't the age that bothers me as much as her behavior, take caution I think she is playing you because of what seems to be your inexperience, kind of like some idiots want to lay a virgin

You're 25 and you're asking dating advice online?

Start with asking her to coffee during work - it's less "in your face" and you should be able to tell how she feels from there...good luck!

if you really like her, i would consider looking for another job before i pursue this woman....as you know, you and her going out isnt professional and if there are rumours about her relationship, most likely there would be rumours about you (worse)....

not when she has a boyfriend, wait and see if they break up, but until then don't do anything, not worth all the shlt that goes along with it all
