PLEASE give me your opinions on the following situation:
My parents got way mad...

My boyfriend left on friday for college. We texted everyday and are in love and missed each other a lot. Tuesday, the second day of classes I decided to drive an hour to his college with a friend who went there too and visit. We spent the afternoon together and then I came back home to a very angry father. My brother knew about it and my mom knew but my dad said I needed to take permission first. Also, he says its not very respectful for a girl to get up and go run to a boy like that.
So what does the world think?

I suspect that not only are you still a minor but you are also much younger than your boyfriend. If I am correct , that would explain your father's reaction and he would be right about getting his permission. While I understand your desire to see him it has been a few days since he left for you to make the one hour trip.Try to balance your feelings for him with making him miss and respect you also.Remember love is a two way street and you can not force somebody to love you. If your boyfriend truly feels for you like you do for him ,time and distance will not matter.Love will always find a way.Good luck.
