Like if the person was physically attractive to you but there was something about their character or personality that ended up putting you off and leaving you uninterested? What would it be?

I am debating whether or not to invite one of my old friends. She was my best friend from Kindergarten through most of high school. She was the one that introduced my now fiance and I. Our friendship has declined over the last few years as I don't agree with the people she hangs around with and the amount of alcohol she consumes. The last time I visited her she invited all of her drunken friends and got drunk herself and wanted to drive me home intoxicated. (She has gotten a DUI btw) I feel as if I have an obligation to invite her because of our past and the fact that she got my fiance and I together. My fiance, my parents and my bridesmaids are not too keen on her being there. If I do invite her I know she will be upset because of the fact that I didn't even make her a bridesmaid. I am afraid of her bringing one of her awful friends even I tell her that she can't. If I don't invite her at all then I will most likely lose her friendship. Thoughts and Opinions on this?

My close friend just broke her nose in a bike accident and also now has a hug bump on her forehead. She's ok though. What's something funny I can say and tease her about jokingly?

Do you see it as a unity of two people that love one another or just a piece of paper?

What do you think of people that just see marriage as a peice of paper? Bitter, resentful

Reason why I ask is because I am getting married and some know it all at work said 'I just see marriage as a piece of paper'

This is coming from a girl that is 22 and she has a mortgage with her 21 year old b/f... also this is the guy she lost her virginity to.

I also asked why she thinks this, she would not answer, however, I think it is because her b/f has never asked her.

It was hard at first had depression and a nervous breakdown as I loved her so much she was my first everything 15 years together highschool sweetys. Now I'm happy for her and I hope she finds what she wants in life and I have no bitterness . We share our two boys everyother week together and there is NO drama of any kind. I'm very happy and comfortable now. I'm told that I'm a very easy going guy and tooo nice could that be why I'm so happy for her? ps I don't think shes that happy though. I can see looking back that she was a selfish lover and person but I can also see where I messed up. She needed lots of affection and we grew up together but also grew apart. I hear how so many people stay so angry with an ex that cheats and leaves so why am I so freakin happy!

There is a girl I work with, she has a cousin getting married at the end of the week,

the girl is a singer and she is going to charge her cousin for singing at the wedding.

I think it is terrible, what do you think?

This is the same girl that asked me to pay her if she was going to sing at mine.

i met this girl. she is freakin adorable, nice, genuine, kind, caring, all the things i want in a girl. she says the same to me. she says im sweet, adorable, etc... BUT i met her on facebook and we technically havent met yet. we text/call each other all the time. she goes to college in the same state as me, but not to the same college.

is it possible to really fall for someone who you havent met yet? and if so, do you think we should meet up and try a relationship?

i feel like todays day in age, its no big deal if someone met up online because our society is all digital now. is it awkward to have a relationship with someone you met online??

thanks for all your help!!

I am from the south and I assume that maybe this dance at a wedding is a local thing. Most all of the weddings I have ever been to has them and my finance wants to have one yet I feel a little tacky doing it. I feel like its saying "hi bring us a gift and while you at is give us some money"

What are your thoughts on it???

I have been involved with a man that is my ex brother in law for the past 2 years. My sister is cool with it and we all get along great! The only problem i have is my ex husband keeps telling me that is is immoral to be involved with him and therefore my children don't care for him or want him around. But when it is just us and my kids we are happy with the situation it is when he (my ex)calls and tells my children not to like him and that i am doing wrong by being with a man that was with my sister. Please help? I need some advice

Is there anything I can do to get it back?

2007-08-07 10:00:47 · 6 answers · asked by Anonymous in Family

Told you one the phone "Oh, you will get over it and forgive me like you always do" I think it means that he is saying he can get away with anything. He said he didn't mean it that way...he said he meant it like I'm a very forgiving person.

Oh and by the way the reason I was mad at him was because a girl answered his cell phone and he grabbed it from her and said "Baby, can I call you back?" then I hear the girl in the background go "Baby?" he said she was a friend that didn't know he had a girlfriend...but I think he is full of crap!

But I am a very forgiving person and I am more hurt about what he told me on the phone then the girl...I will never know for sure if he was telling the truth about the girl anyways.

I've distanced myself from them and have had no interaction for about 2 years now and seem to find it easier to live my life that way without the added "drama". it all started when my husband then (47) and me (31) with 3 children decided after 3.5 years of dating to get married. We decided amongst ourselves to never have children. When we announced our intentions, my sister in law was not favorable to the union and did not make it hidden. We've been together for 8.5 years and married for 5 and are happy together. Am I wrong for distancing myself from a hopeless situation?
