i met this girl. she is freakin adorable, nice, genuine, kind, caring, all the things i want in a girl. she says the same to me. she says im sweet, adorable, etc... BUT i met her on facebook and we technically havent met yet. we text/call each other all the time. she goes to college in the same state as me, but not to the same college.

is it possible to really fall for someone who you havent met yet? and if so, do you think we should meet up and try a relationship?

i feel like todays day in age, its no big deal if someone met up online because our society is all digital now. is it awkward to have a relationship with someone you met online??

thanks for all your help!!

It is completely normal to find someone on-line and feel a connection. Although it is easy to lie on-line and stretch the truth, it is also very easy to be truthful on-line because you aren't face to face with anyone so you may be able to open more. Especially if you have already text and called her and still feel a connection that is a big thing. There usually isn't a problem with chemistry once you meet face to face if there is already chemistry on the phone, it can be awkward but you get over it quickly. Just remember to take things slowly and enjoy it.
So my final word is YES, meet her and see where things go. My advice to you is, (if she is this kind of girl) plan the meet/date out!!! Don't just go for dinner and movie, try for something a little out of the ordinary like mini-golf or a small amusement park in the area. She will really appreciate it and you get to talk more.

First off, it's not awkward to meet someone online, in fact, it's becoming more and more of an accepted practice. We are all so busy nowadays to actually get out there, and when we do, it's at the club where girls don't like to meet guys. So, to answer your question, it is quite possible to fall in love with their personality. But there needs to be a physical attraction too. Also, you need to see how she acts in different situations. The big thing is, is to take it slow, and get to know her better (on ALL terms) before you let emotions get the best of you. Good luck.

i think that you should still be cautious because anybody could fake who they are on the internet. I'm not saying you shouldn't talk to her but maybe you two should meet up in a public place where there's lots of people and get to know each other more and after spending time with her then decide if u want to take ur relationship as friends to the next level. well i hoped this was helpful for u, good luck!!!! :)

naw , its not awkward at all . i had a relationship online and i actually got to meet the guy in person . But before you rush a relationship , you should know a lot about the person and he/she must know a lot about you . Liking someone because their adorable/hot doesn't mean you should like them more ,looks are a bonus but in your case she has everything you;d ever want so i'd say meet up with her and start a relationship , good luck :)

It is normal to fall in love with someone on-line, things like this always happen. But I think you should met her and get to know her better. Sometimes people that you met on-line might not be the same on real life. Best of Luck... :-)

You can fall for them, but you can't make a commitment until you meet personally and have a long relationship. People will act and say things digitally, because it offers some anonymity.

You might want to meet her. Some things sound better on paper, if you know what i mean. When you do meet her and things go great, yeah go for it. Internet love happens everyday. Best of Luck!
