Well, I have a career and only wish I had love. To me having someone to share your life with is a lot more important. Careers can be found anywhere......love can not. Money isn't everything and I have a feeling of emptiness without love. You can't share your feelings with your career, you can't snuggle with it at night, it can't eat dinner with you........
I love my job and enjoy it thoroughly. Yes it makes me smile, but at the end of the day.....I go home.....alone.

If it is True love, love is more important than a career. If it a true career, the career is more important than love.
It really depends on what you want and where you see you self in five years. If you want to be a successful business man you can have love and a career. If it comes down to choosing between the love or career. You need to pick the one that would effect your distant future. Ask yourself is money and career greater than loosing the love of my life. Is the love of my life worth loving and working at McDonald's flipping burgers?
You personal preference can only be your true answer to this question.

Careers come and go. That is a thing..Love turns us inside out. Love teaches us to think of others. Love teaches us how precious life is. Love is joy and sadness. Love is a human condition..Yes careers come and go.. Love is a memory that is etched in our brain, be it good or bad. Love is worth everything.

Orgasms are better when you have lots of $$ and big boob chicks are falling all over you. Orgasms are bad when your in the same routine with the person you "love" who you gave up a great career for...

Career is my #1 priority as of now. If I find love, it will have to accomodate my studies/career, not the other way around.

Both have a place in life, it is all about balance. But if you need to know which is more important in the long run, it is family/love. Keep in mind that no one has ever said on their death-bed, "Boy, I wish I'd spent more time at the office."
