Good for you. At least you care. You don't actually plan on talking to her boyfriends, that would be out of line. She may not have full blown AIDS at this time and may not be communicating the disease to others, but to be safe report her behavior to your local health department. They can possibly have a warrant served on her and haul her into court to discuss her behavior. That's your best bet.

You both should get tested! You should also get educated to the latest medications and treatments available. Although this is not a time for celebration, being HIV positive is not the end of the world. If you really love him, he will need your support now more than ever. You may also require a support group. Like many things in life, it is easier when you have someone that truly cares standing by your side. I wish you the best...

In California, since 2005, there is what's called the "Willful Exposure" law. The law makes it a felony punishable by up to eight years of imprisonment for an HIV-positive person to "willfully expose" another person to HIV through unprotected sex.
This means that if anyone who is HIV + and knowingly and DELIBERATELY has unprotected sex with a number of people, they may be guilty of the crime of trying to kill with the HIV virus.
I believe there are similar laws in other states, you might check the laws in your community.
Even if no du jure law as such existed in your area, I would STILL speak up...especially if you can prove it. Yes, you may lose a friend if you tell, but personally I wouldn't want a friend like that.

It would be her business if her friend infected someone she cared about, wouldn't it? It's crazy all around. She should use a condom, and it's up to you to tell the guys...what needs to happen is for the rumor to go around all your circles of friends so everyone will know and be warned. On the other hand, these guys are stupid for not taking precautions.

If you don't the HIV rate will go from two to fifty if she isn't careful. Just because she is going to die faster, doesn't mean that these innocent guys and the people they have sex with should die all because she isn't careful with her infected goods! It's sickening!!

you have to tell your friend to tell those guys!!!! IN CASE YOU DIDN'T KNOW HIV KILLS YOU!!! You can die from hiv, and having unprotected sex with people who you haven't told you have the disease is a crime. YOUR FRIEND COULD GO TO JAIL IF SHE DOESN'T TELL THESE GUYS AND THEY GET INFECTED! If she refuses to tell them then her friend or not you have to report her to the poluice! She could be killing people! THIS IS A VERY SERIOUS THING! IT IS NOT A JOKING MATTER! you have to tell your friend to tell these people ot tell the police, if not then their infections and deaths will be on your conscience forever. You will never forget that you could have done something but were too stupid and loyal to your friend to do so!

Yes you have to tell them and she can go to jail for that!!! That is a very dangerous and irresponsible thing she is doing. In essence she is running the risk of infecting alot of people and ruining lots of lives. Can you live with yourself knowing you knew and said nothing. That kind of makes you just as guilty doesn't it.

um, yes you should tell them!
just because SHE is so bitter about what happened to her, doesnt mean that she has the right mess with other peoples lives. the guy might not have known he had it, but she does. so she can fix it. she may want to go tell the guy as well.
also, she should get treatment ASAP.
