Them NOT divorcing has affected my life and brother's very badly.

Parents who get to the point of hating each other really should get divorced. A child has ears and eyes; they can see and hear, and all the fighting is not good; they learn hostility and anger. Plus, the parents can take out their anger on the child...

Badly ?? no. I got to see my dad every other weekend. It was nice to see him and we always had a great time together. They divorced when I was little, so I because accustom to it pretty fast.
It was actually nice, cause you get two Christmas's, two birthday parties, two of everything really. Makes you feel spoiled almost.
I guess the bad thing is mom still does not like dad, so she talks bad about him every now and then. Which is annoying. I try not to pay any attention to it. Not fair to get me mixed up in that crap.

Well my life would have been better, had my mom actually gotten a backbone and left my cheating sorry father...

Worst of effect of someone staying together for the children. Well I have the tendency to be to jealous and drive my husband crazy with questions and trust is a big issue for me. Though together we are working on it.

Nope. Not at all actually. Divorce doesn't always completely destroy a kid. Sometimes it's the best decision! (like if a child is growing up in an abussive home)

She ran away with my dads superb chum. egocentric. besides cutting the main appropriate factors, definite it has badly affected my existence for a good number of distinctive motives.

I dont ever let myself get walked on by a man. I am dominant, and I walk away. I refuse to let myself get hurt by a man and get treated like dirt the way mom did.

Nope. It was actually a good thing. I was too young to remember it and I gained another mom and dad to help raise my siblings and I.

Colin, No, people blame to much on their chilhood ! As adults we all need to take responsibility for our own actions ! No matter what they say about the gene factor. We all make our own choices !
