I met this girl on Facebook that going to be a Freshman, and I'm a junior, how should I talk to her?

My friends finally persuaded me enough to get a Facebook, so I did. I entered my school's network and started adding friends. I was going through and found an incoming Freshman that caught my attention. I sent a friend request last night and this morning, I was her friend.

But what now?

How can I communicate with her? Are there any good applications on Facebook to use? Or what can I say to her? I'm a junior and she is a freshman. We start school August 20, but I'd like to get a head start with Facebook, if possible.

So what should I say?

My brother is a very kind person but drugs have taken over his life. He's irriable and depressed. He recently got beat up so badly he had his jaw broken in 3 places, and he will never fully recover from it, years ago he almost OD on a eight ball, and had to phone my mom shaking and in tears to bring him home. He was in he's early twenty's then. Now he's 29 almost and he's facing jail time (because him and he's ex-girlfriend were fighting and it got physical) (that's not his personialty to hit a girl it's the drug and the type of girl his with!) and he's for sure into cocaine as in the police report he had done two lines of coke that night. He;s life is so scary. And he of course thinks he doesn't have a problem.
He wasn't raise at all like this. His personality has been stolen because of drugs. And it's only a matter of time until we find out he's dead.

I am 18 years old and recently broke up with a guy I was dating for almost four years. I am okay about the break it, it was for the better, but it made me realize that I am dependent on other people, particularly guys, to feel happy. I am unhappy without a guy in my life, not necessarily a boyfriend, even just a guy I might be hooking up with. I think this is because I was with this guy and had stability in my life since I was a freshman in high school. I am going to college in the fall. I know that this dependence is a problem. I have been doing a lot of soul searching and trying to figure out who I am independently and it is very difficult. Any words of wisdom?

this one friend of mine is always making sexual comments to and about me. i dont really care. and he is the one i think that likes me. he shows all the signs.but why doues he do that? he jsut screwin around or is he seriouse? and what would be something that i could say to him when he says those things, to be a joke to me, but hed take it serious.like he says all kinda weird things. he says he could kick my *** and we joke about that kinda stuff. one time, bear with me, he said he wouldnt kick my ***, hed chop my *** off first and i just looked at him and said, "and you think and plan these things out?" adn he jsut looked at me an said "...maybe..." and smiled.

my mom is getting married to this guy..annd i dont want to go but but she doesnt understand. my dad died almost 3 years ago,and i miss him so much i might start crying(im not embarressed to say it even though im a boy) i really dont want to go, i cantget over to the fact that shes marrying somone again..i just dont know what to tell her, i would ask my brother whatto do but hes in iraq, the guy thats marrying my momasked me to be the best man.. uh no. how do i tell him NO also?

was wrong with him? He has done the on again off again relationship with his kids mom for years, but said he knew when he was with her he was not going to marry her. We have only been dating for a few months, but I don't want to waste mt time with someone who will never settle down. I was kinda hoping that his kids mom taught him the do's and the don'ts when it comes to making a relationship work, and now he knows where he wants to be. My gf said if a man is almost 40-years-old, and he has either never been married or he don't have kids, that something is wrong with him. What do you think.

So I was at the mall with my friend and I and we were walking past the massage chairs and we saw this really hot guy and we were like "ooh hi how's your massage?" haha and ran off laughing then we walked past them again and he was still there. He and his friend followed us around the mall and then when we would see them he would like hide behind trash cans and in stores and crap. Well, he followed us around to the movie theater and my friend yelled "GO AWAY!" at him really loud and he moved away but came back and kept looking at me and so I waved and smiled and he smiled back. So I was like, let's go talk to him and my other friend was all okay. So we went up to talk to him and I found out his name, age, that he goes to my school and that he's on the football team. He was smiling and lot and flirting with me a lot and stuff. I'm a cheerleader, so I will see him often in the fall and winter, so do you think I should pursue him?

He didnt want anything to do with him after the test were done and he hasnt helped me with anything. I went to childsupport and let him know he then started making threats and came to my house 4 days later trying to say he was visiting and tried to leave with our son . He isnt on the birth certificate and I am breast fedding and have request that he come here to visit for that reason . he threw a fit and was cussing and making a scene around our child and shoved me cause i was trying to get the baby so i could feed him . he then wanted the cops called . they said he couldnt take the child . I went to my attorny and got a DVPO and that is good till tuesday but I am wondering if he should get any type of custody he has a very bad temper only wants things he way . and he also has alot of bad habits.. I cant sleep I stay up all night and put the couch in front of my door cause im scared he is going to come here and harm me and take the baby ..

i asked this guy for a ride home from one of my classes and he said ok. as we were driving a made a comment jokingly saying the reason your giving me a ride home is because you like me. he laughed laughed but later i noticed the mood in the car changed and he was upset. the next day he was ignoring me. he used to have feelings for me and i still like him but nothing happened. when i see him again i want to apologize for what i said and let him know that i know he was just being nice and nothing more. i just want to make things right. i dont like him anymore

I feel like I'm too polite all the time and this really annoying guy is taking advantage of it. I have no problem telling him off if I get really mad and I've done that a few times, but he seems to forget I can't stand him and he does stuff like going on about it in a loud voice if I pass him on the street without saying hello. Then if I'm not quite mad enough to lose it, I end up trying to be polite and I hate that because I even let him sit with me at the coffee shop, even though I think he's nuts and didn't want to, because I was being to polite. I dated him casually at one time but that was two years ago. Now I'm really fed up because I found out some people think we're still dating! It's a small town so rumours get around. He is so totally opposite of the person I want to date, who is quiet and shy, and I think the annoying guy is competing because he knows I like him. This situation is really irksome to me so I need to find a way to put a stop to it.

I was so in love. Everyone thought me and this man were steps away from marriage. I thought so as well. We talked about being together forever. Really Most people actually thought we were married.

A few months ago he left me and cut off all ties of communication. He never even told me it was over. He just left. We lived together and he left everything he owns except a few clothes. I was in agony for a while trying to figure out what was happening.
Now it is about 6 months later and I have started to move on with my life. I actually have began to think of him as "scum" and think about the things I hated in our relationship.

I just can't kick these feelings of, "Is he thinking of me?" "Did he love me?" "Does he think he made a mistake?" "Will I ever know what happened?"

I have so much anger about this situation and think I am really traumatized. With so many unanswered questions will I ever get over this and actually trust again. (I had trust issues to begin with.)

One time I was changing in my room and my parents came in without knocking.. Another time, I was in the shower and my parents opened the bathroom door without letting me know. IWhen I received an award in the mail, my parents opened it without letting me see it and ended up losing it. My parents explained to me that since I am under aged and under their care, they don't have to knock on the door and wait for me to open the door; they reason that since they own the room and the bathroom, they care come in whenever they want whether I like it or not. As for the mail, they say they can open my mail without at least letting me see it because since I am under their care, my mail is their property. Therefore, they said the award they lost was in a sense something they lost that was their property. I know that my parents can legally open my mail(even though I don't think it is respectful) but to lose it and say that it was not their fault is not right in my opinion.

petition for support.(income execution standard 17% in NY) A few months later we reconciled & we ammended the order to direct pay at $100. Off & on we would brake up. I would always give her cash. This brings us to 2007. We had a break up & she is a scorned woman. She filed a petition stating I never gave her any support for our child since the inception of the order in 03. (Which is a fabrication).I appeared after being serverd and was given an chance to bring evidence to refute her. We were ajourned to the next week. I was unable to appear and a default order insued. The CSMS# that was on the petition was now changed to another number. After filing a motion to vacate a defaulted order. I had my day in court. She did not appear & the mag.defaulted against her. Ordering income execution removed & zeroed out the arears. he closed the original csms# .but the new # was not closed & SCU says I still owe and threatening my Drivers liscense. How to I get the SCU off my back?

my husband seems to think i need to hang out with a bunch of girls but i really dont feel the need for it .im not a real girlly girl i dont like to shop or have my toe nails painted by a person i hardly know. i also dont like diamonds or gold.some of the girls i do hang around just drain me with their drama and all of their life problems.i feel bad for them ,but damn,how do they breath between words?How do I explain to him that im happy with the friends i have,and i dont want to be miss popularity?

When I tell him, just in case he is sort of uneasy about the idea, how can I try and get him familliar and comfortable with the idea? I'd be bringing up me stimulating him, not visa versa, although that is already a territory that has been explored.
Any advice on how to talk to him about this, just in case he decides to bring up that male anal stimulation is for homosexuals?
I just want the conversation to go well, if he's not up for it, I won't try and put pressure on him, but I'll just try to give him my counter opinions on the matter.

My wife and I have been married for over 5 years now. We often have brutal verbal agruments where we say horrible things to each other to prove how mad we are. I feel that this is some immature way of trying to be right on both of our parts. When we finally work things out, things are great until we butt heads again and then the "pissing match" begins all over.

This was easier to deal with before we had kids but now we have a 1 & 2 year old. I love these kids more than life itself. She knows this and constantly threatens to take them away which infuriates me to unspeakable levels.

Why do women present an image (that deserves an Emmy) when you are "wooing" us in the dating stage? Why do women change when you slip that wedding ring on? And why do they abandon all things pleasant when they finally have you in their grasp when kids come into the picture?

I am deploying soon and worry about what will be left of our relationship when I get back. Help me please. I really do love her.
