A playgroup I belong to has this one particular mother who is rude, self-absorbed and is the typical high-school clique snob. She has been rude to me on countless occasions and has in fact thrown several parties where she has invited all other members of the playgroup in front of me but has never included me in. It saddens me that she dislikes me so much because I am a great person and I am a great friend (you know the one that you can share every one of your darkest secrets and know that five second after you walk out the door are on the phone telling every humuliating detail) but in intentially alienating me, she takes it out on my babies (2 1/2 years and 15 months).

How would you deal with this person and would you remain quiet if you saw and knew this was going on. Especially, since she appears to control the clique???

i agreed to have sex with my boyfriend of almost a month. we havent yet but within the week we will. he hasnt given me any reason that he WOULD actually dump me but im afraid that once we've done this, that he might want to move on so he can experience other girls. we're both virgins, and he's not a player but what are the chances of him staying with me? are relationship is going well, we really like each other and like hanging out whenever we can.so, could that we a good sign? but the fact that were both 15 is a bad sign though right?

i asked my sister if she drinks and she says she doesn't. bs. i registered on facebook (didn't add her as a friend), joined her network, saw her profile, and shes at beirut tournies and i see her drinking rum and coke and shiznit like that. i feel sad bc none of my family members drink. and she has the nerve to lie about it. im not going to say anything to her or my rents out of not wanting to infringe on her privacy but its still disgusting that she'd lie like that. oh yea, and she also went to puerto rico with her friends without telling my parents, and she was spending like crazy with her debit card and went $720 over... when asked she just told my parents that she was simply having a good time. that bothers me! anyway whats going on with her? she is so detached when she comes home, she doesn't care anymore.

When I told everyone about how I was 23 still living with my parents they acted like it was a crime. I don't understand why people can't see that times are hard. I graduated college only to have to come home & live with my parents. Its not like I am trying 2 be lazy or mooch off my parents. Sense I came home last year have been looking for jobs & going to interviews. I have had to luck. I had 2 take a job at Wal-Mart just so I could make money. The money I make there its not enough to get an apartment even with a roommate. I could get 1 but what money would I have to eat with? I'm back in school now tryin 2 get a 2nd degree. Why can't you people see that its not my fault that I have to live with my parents at 23? 50% of college grads have to move back with parents. Why can't people understand?

My husband knows I love white roses. He bought red, and he signed our card just before we were leaving to go out for dinner. He isn't very romantic anymore, and maybe I expected too much. I have 3 children, ages 23, 19, 13. I told my oldest I was disappointed that he didn't even wish us a Happy Anniversary. He told me that he was getting us a card and gift on Sunday August 5th, when WE take everyone out for dinner. I don't even want to go. I didn't expect gifts, because I know my kids are paying for their University education, but just some sort of acknowledgement would have been nice. When it is everyone's birthdays I make their favourite dinner, buy them something nice. If they ever need something they know they can count on me. This is really upsetting me, I feel if it wasn't important enough to even say anything why should I make a big deal out of it to take everyone out to celebrate. Do I go out for dinner, I don't feel appreciated at all - time to move on?

My mother is bipolar and she has made my whole life hell for me. She was diagnosed bipolar after my sister was born, who is three years younger then me. I went through years of court and abuse. Then everything was fine for a few years, but the last 6months give or take a few, she has not been taking her pills. The physical abuse has gone but the verbal is still there. I want to move in with my aunt in Detroit, but I live in Virginia. I haven't even asked my aunt to move in, but I doubt she would deny it if my father agreed. She just moved into this huge house and has plenty of space. My aunt also understands the pain I am going through. All I ever hear is whore and then she makes fun of the darkness of my skin. She'll find something to humiliate me about, and she has shut me out of the outside world. I want to try to convince my dad to let me go, I just need advice on how I should talk to him. I'm going to be staying with my aunt until the end of month. Im leavng in a week

I am 30 years old, and I have been dating a new guy for about 2 months now. He is almost 33 years old, and I have noticed that he gets TOTALLY drunk (i.e., "blacks out", is very ill the next day, etc.) at least once every 2 weeks. Is this normal, or does he have an alcohol abuse issue?
