Its 2007 and do you think things should change like bring him flowers or take him out to eat and to the movies and pull out his chair ect.? I have been thinking about this and wouldn't mind doing so really but what would the guy think?
And what are your opinions on this?
Do you also think it would freak the guy out?

i am assuming you are young. Let me tell you that after 14 years of marriage, and its been a good one, that you will be doing most everything for him by then, so keep your man a man, and let him pull out your chair and be a gentlemen and he will continue to treat you well later in life. My husband always opened the car door for me when we were dating and i always said thank you. 14 years later, he still opens my door first and i still say thank you. Women try to take away all that men do and then complain when they don't do anything for us. A guy pampering you doesn't mean he thinks you're weak, it means he thinks you're worth it!!

I think a man should be a man. I believe it is okay to give those types of gift's once in a while, but I don't believe men like to be pampered materially. I know they do physically and emotionally. I think it would freak a guy out at first, then he would become accustomed to it, till he is expecting that you will do things, or take care of things, that in a more realistic world, he should be taking care of. A real man will not let you be "the man", he will absolutely tell you not to do that. Plus it would probably embarrass him, especially in public. There are times when I see a man walking to a door about the same time I am. I can tell that he feels funny to see that I got to the door before him. I just tell him, "let me be the man", then we both smile, and he will enter with the understanding that I did not expect him to open the door for me, and that it was okay to accept the offer, this time. Hope this helps.

It wouldnt freak me out a bit. Men like to be pampered and treated good too. I think it would be a good thing! I think that if my girl did that, though, I might think she wants something or did something wrong - since it is so rare and unusual. Other than that - women should start doing it more!!

Why would you pull out his chair? And women paying when on a date has been fine to do since the 60s.

I would never buy a man flowers or take him to dinner or pull his chair out....that is a man's thing.
I would however buy him a gift and buy him tickets to a game.
I think any man would like that much better.

there's nothing wrong if you wanna do those things for your guy..
maybe your guy would be shocked because those are things not usual for women to do..
so if you think you wanna do those, go on, but dont expect that more women will agree with you because more women want to be pampered by their guys... i guess.. =)
