my husband seems to think i need to hang out with a bunch of girls but i really dont feel the need for it .im not a real girlly girl i dont like to shop or have my toe nails painted by a person i hardly know. i also dont like diamonds or gold.some of the girls i do hang around just drain me with their drama and all of their life problems.i feel bad for them ,but damn,how do they breath between words?How do I explain to him that im happy with the friends i have,and i dont want to be miss popularity?

Having a female friend would help, yes, if you understand the boundaries up front. But realistically, sounds to me that you are lonely and are missing that companionship you want to at least experience. There are guys out there in a much worse boat than you, so there is no need to be depressed. One of my best friends is 22 and bald without having kissing a girl before. Do some self reflecting, find the things that you feel are missing in your life and learn to love yourself despite them. Get some confidence in yourself. You will see how many of your problems will go away and you won't be inside your head so much. Go out, buy some clothes that make you feel confident. Then go to different places and just start talking to girls. Ask them stupid questions, like what time is it or if they know where something easy is. Get your feet wet, tread water before you dive in the deep end. You'll be amazed as to how much better you feel. Suicidal thoughts are not necessary, a change to the positive is.

Maybe its his way of wanting to see you happier or less stressed out and figures if he cant understand you maybe fellow estrogen can
Maybe he wants to hang out with the guys for a little male bonding be doesnt want to feel left out
Maybe he wants you to go get sexier and do what females do, or just encourage you to make sure you have a life outside the house/ your job.
you dont need anything you dont want but I would go out and have fun in place of the weird girly gilr things. Maybe take a class or go tto the library and read and enjoy quiet time
I would efinatly talk to your husband and see what HE wants - be it for you to be more girly/sexy, for him to hang out with the guys while you do something else, or if hes afraid your just sitting in the house or too stressed out at work. Ask him why and not in a mean way just be like "honey you seem to push me to the idea of going out with the girls is there any reason cause you can talk to me. Im perfectly happy and dont know why you want me to make the change in company". I bet you he will open up

While I'm not a girly girl, I think that a support system of women is a great thing to have. I think it's important to have someone to talk to about things that women go through that you can't just talk to a stranger about. I really needed one of my friends when I was pregnant because she already had a baby. I don't think you have to be the ring leader to have a good group of friends.

No, It is most important just to be yourself. I have friends of both genders nut do not need either. I dont want to pay someone I do not know to paint my nails or vut my hair. I do not feel that one gender is supreme over the other, as for jewelry, i admire it on others but do not drool over it for myself, I enjoy flowers. but I also enjoy a vegetable garden, It is most important to be true to yourself and he should just chill, I'm with you on this one, proceed.

Perhaps you are hanging out with the wrong women...we are not all drama queens. If you don't choose to find new women friends, then explain this to your husband...just what you said in your question should explain it perfectly.

tell him exactly that. Let him know that you are content with the way things are. He may just feel that you aren't happy, or he may think you're staying in for his benefit. Just let him know that you are happy with things as are
