I met this girl on Facebook that going to be a Freshman, and I'm a junior, how should I talk to her?

My friends finally persuaded me enough to get a Facebook, so I did. I entered my school's network and started adding friends. I was going through and found an incoming Freshman that caught my attention. I sent a friend request last night and this morning, I was her friend.

But what now?

How can I communicate with her? Are there any good applications on Facebook to use? Or what can I say to her? I'm a junior and she is a freshman. We start school August 20, but I'd like to get a head start with Facebook, if possible.

So what should I say?

hmm i'd first just say thanks for accepting the friend request. start off with that. if she responds be like hope you like your first year in highschool/college and then maybe say how much you liked it and why. :) hope this helps.

tell her your name, what grade your in, and that hopefully you'll see her around in school.
then gradually start conversations with her...
