well my family 60% of the time is a normal family and my dad is a loving dad and also my mom but at times its like i better watch my self coz even breaking a waterglass will make my mom pissed little things drive my mom crazy and when she finds out she goes mad...she beats me up like hell well not to point theres bleeding but she uses any kind of thing she finds in her way to beat me up..it could be a clothes hanger or her hand and sometimes her belt and like i would hate it and want to runaway but then the next day its like nothing happened and like i could ask her to hang with a frend in the club and shed be like yeah u can go..and well i also forget what would happen but also she always screams and yells at me even though what i did was nothing...like i couldve just turned on the tv and shed be like turn that ******* thing off and yelling and then in a few seconds we would be out together hanging and likr shopping and like i dunno if thats normal or not but i need some advise?

A group of friends and I had planned a road trip for Saturday. The father of one of the guys going got sick and is dieing. He went to be with his father, which just happens to be to the place where we planned the road trip. The rest of us were going to cancel the trip (we were going to a huge party there). When I told the guy this, he said no to us cancelling and that he expects us to be there no matter what. Anywho, I am still going but the others are not. Now they are upset with me for still wanting to go. I explained to them that this guy wants us all to be there. I get the impression it is for moral support, you know a friendly face, a bit of diversion from a stressful situation. This guy's dad has been sick for a long time so this is not sudden news about his declining health.

Would you go to be with one friend at the risk of upsetting other friends? I really want to go support him. He sunded like he really needs his friends around him.

From observing my friends who are gettting divorced and breaking up:

It seems that women get over the break up faster at the beginning and then hard on them later on.

For the male, it's hard at the beginning, but then they get over it, and then easy later on.

We have only been married 4 years, since I was 17. Keep in mind I have a set of 3 year old twin boys and I just had a daughter 4 months ago. He said my butt is too big for my body but what do you think!? Should I go on an @ss diet?

He split with me, from a perfectly wonderful relationship of 2 years, a month ago. This is the second longest relationship he has been in that I know. Said he loves me but needs time to sort out things in his head. We talk now and again, email every week or so. When it is time that I can ask him if we can do something together. We both love to fish. I miss him so very much. Trying to leave everything in his court. I am so confused.

Okay, this happened a while back, but I am just now thinking about it. Okay, so there's this guy, Anthony, who I used to like, but now I only think he's cute, after what he did to me. Anyways, he always gave me signs that he liked me and he was always flirting and smiling at me and crap, but one day I was walking to the bus and he started walking next to me and he was talking to me and stuff, then my friend Madison walked behind me to tell me something (Madison and Anthony don't like each other) and Anthony was like, "Hey Mad. I was just talking to my babe. Yeah, that's my baby!" I was just laughing and trying to to turn red. Then, Madison was like, "Whatever.." Adn then the leaned on my shoulder and said, "See you tomorrow!" And he walked away.. Does he liked me, or was he using me to get Madison jealous. Or was he using me as a way of telling me that he liked me?! I'm so confused!

we were at work , (i work in a restaraunt) and were sitting in a booth talking about babies, one of the coworkers brought her baby, he is adorable, but i dont think all babies are adorable so i said that and this one guy got upset and he said i think all babies are beautiful and i think he said i dont know what babies you're looking at , but anyways, its my opinion, so i dont know why he got upset, he's 24 and i just turned 20 , i also said i would like to adopt and not have kids and i wasnt even talking to that guy but he butted in and said why and i told him i think the process of having kids is nasty and he argued with me that's nature, but why would he care? no he's not my bf, hes acquintances/friends with me and i work with him

Everyone says that I'm gorgeous & beautiful & I have a lot of guys looking my way, but rarely do they actually come up to talk to me. Why is this? Oh, and why when I actually talk to them after they've been looking at me, they act offish & talk very little? It makes me feel as if I could never have a boyfriend. Some get warmer once I talk to them longer, but most don't. Its the strangest thing... could it be out of shyness?

My fiance farted a few days ago and she didn't even say "sorry" or anything. She acted like it was a normal thing. I was disgusted. I couldn't even sleep thinking about it.

How do you show your husband you are sorry for a really big fight?

he walked out after this fight and im trying to fight for him to come home. i am willing to do whatever it takes. i am working on getting a job, i take care of the kids and the house chores

My sister only calls when she wants something, like when she needs me to keep her children while she goes out somewhere or when she needs to borrow some money. She never calls to chit-chat with me or is ever concerned about me.

I recognized this pattern years ago after we both married and left home and I would call her to say hello. It was always one-way, never both ways until she wanted something.

I have my own family! I no longer available to her.

Am I wrong for calling her out on this (I'm being made out to be the monster in my family for having an attitude about it)? Should I feel guilty for not helping my sister EVERY SINGLE time she wants me to?

The most frustrating part of all of this is that my parents and brothers also say that I have an attitude about it. To me, it seems everybody else can be considerate of everybody else except for me. I deserve respect from my family

In my opinion, my sister is trying to use emotional blackmail to get what she wants....

My husband has lived with his mistress for over a year now. He is still married to me and has said he doesnt want a divorce. Not sure why? I moved to another state with our 6 yr old son. ok so these girls have been bullying me for a while(as in almost a year). these girls used to be my best friends, but i noticed for quite a while(try months) that they havent been treating me right. they used to just corner up on me and make fun of me,i just got so sick of it. i finally cracked, and told them they were treating me wrong. after that, i thought maybe they would change their ways, but they just stopped being friends with me and started throwing stuff at me on the bus and humiliating me in front of everyone. i told my mother but she says to ignore it and to laugh at them. im so sick of being so strong all the time. they continue to do it. i am dreading the beginning of the school year cause i will see them everywhere, at lunch, on the bus, in classes even after school on the sports team. ever since then, all my other friends have been treating me diff, i think they just got tired of seeing my sad face and asking me what was wrong. im so lonely and so depressed.

For quite sometime statistics have shown that second and third marriages are more likely to end in divorce than first marriages. I personally have noticed that most of the women and men that have been married and divorced end up divorcing again and again afterwards sometimes they divorce for legitimate reasons like cheating or abuse but other times they just do it suddenly and simply say they have "fallen out of love" then they remarry and start the whole process again. What are your opinions? and what do you think is the reason for this trend?

So I'm recently single and I've come to meet this freakin weirdo. All I wanted a ciagarette (for my friend) and he started talking blah blah. I ended up giving him my number despite my lack of interest only bc I had my phone out and was trying to find my friend and bc he saw that he asked for my number so he could call it (which ps I HATE). Anway, he went on to start texting me that night after I left the club, then he was texting me first thing the next day and then day after and I only responded maybe once or twice to be polite. I never texted or called him first, I never returned his phone calls, haven't replied in last three, four days and this guy is still texting. I could go on more and tell you what a weirdo with the stupid sh!t he says but I don't think its necessary. Now do i keep ignoring him or ask him to leave me alone?
