My finance and I are getting married in a private wedding ceremony with just our family's attending (mom, dad, siblings, grandparents), Is it wrong to have our wedding reception (celebration) 2 weeks after our wedding ceremony?

I was friends with her in HS, shes married now with kids, only time i hear from her is when she just had a baby and now she calls to announce she and her hubby brought a home.
Last time we spoke was 2 years ago, i wanted to talk more, she had to go. Never called me back. I even sent a baby present for her daughter, she called me to say when she spoke to me last she wrote my new adress on a pizza box and threw it away by mistake.. I felt she was lying..so i gave it to her again.....Heard from her last year, she left a message saying "im in the city lets get together tonight" I was working all night so i called back right away left a message saying "im working lets get together another time"
Never heard back from her until now, 1 year later to tell me shes moving.. She never even sent photos of her family and she has my email or even invited me over to see them....

What is she looking for? This is not a friend?

My grandpa keeps EVERYTHING. Little scraps of paper, cancelled checks from 1998, catalogs from 2002, expired coupons,and everything in between. Sometimes, I cant even sit anywhere in his living room because there are papers everywhere, on every piece of furniture.

my ex-girlfriend recently broke up with me after 3 months of dating b/c she felt like were better off as best friends. but she still calls me late at night to talk and occasionally will send me a text message saying "goodnight xoxoxo". Now im sure shes not texting all of her guy friends at night just to say goodnight to the. do you think she may have some close feelings for me still and is this a hint that in the future she might want to get back together?

I am making my own bouquets for my wedding, so I am going with the very easy-to-make dome shape. I am getting married in October and my future sister in law, whom is a bridesmaid in my wedding, wants to bring her friend and husband to the wedding to watch their almost 2yr old son. My fiance and I don't even know these people she wants to bring. I just don't understand why her son can't sit with a family member during the ceremony??!?!?!?! The venue we booked is priced on 100 people not 102 or more. We cut our guest list as it is to stay at the 100 mark. What should I do? Stand my ground and say nope they can't come or deal with it and have these strangers there to have a "free" weekend on us?

He is my ex from 6 yrs ago that lives upstate NY he was a very successful man when I was dating him. This man has his own business was so sure of himself which made me fall in love with him. To make a long story short he was having money issues and set me to SC to be with my family until he got things straight. Well he called me everyday when I was there but then the calls turn into week and then months...to find out he was dating someone else and got married. Now this man is divorce and was only married for 1 1/2 and he stated to me it was the biggest mistake. I'm trying to find forgiveness in my heart. I'm not living in Boston and we are 6 hrs away from each other. I haven't seen him yet and he now lost his business but he is working for another company which is from 6 to8. He tells me its hard from him to make time to call me. He does call me...but I express to him if he cared about me he will be calling in the morning when he gets up at lunch and night. Please be honest

She plans to be with her parents, he comes back "I made plans 4 us to be with mine," She had made hers in advance,but if he talks to his parents the night before she is expected to do what he says or he raises holy Hades with her until she calls her 82 yr old parents & cancel.Then when she gets out to his parents house, they complain that they do not see them enough & to come out more often..yet she sees her parents once in a blue moon! Does this seem fair to you? Especially when SHE cleared out all of next week "Just to spend time with HIS family" & then they still expect her to set aside time in the following week to do things with them! She, is having a baby and has to get older son ready for school and there are Dr.s appointments to go to & school clothing & supplies to buy, ect ect. YET she is the bad guy because son, who will also be busy, has to go with her. Yet they just saw them the bloody week before! & there is not enough time before school starts!Does it seem fair?
