My partner and I live together in my rental house, I have a 5 year old daughter. We moved in together almost immediately after beginning our relationship as he had to move interstate to be with me. He has now bought a house here and is moving into it in a few weeks. I am conflicted as to whether I should find a new flat mate and stay here, or move with him. Reasons being, he is dreadfully insecure as a result of being cheated on by previous partners, he doesnt trust me and can be controlling at times. This has already caused a rift between my friends and family. He is horrible and accusive when he drinks, so has now stopped drinking. He has gone onto zyprexa to quit smoking and is trying hard to change his trust issues. My mum tells me to get, while the gettings good, but i cant help wondering whether she is overreacting due to the DV situation i was in with my babies dad. I want to make our relationship work, just not sure whether a step backward or a step forward is the best choice.

I was having a talk with a guy I was going out with for about a week. We were just hugging a little before leaving each other for the day. Out of nowhere, he asked me 'Do you see Mike often?. Mike (false name!) is a great friend of mine and a guy that he knows also. I told him that it depended.. sometimes more often, sometimes less. Anyway, I'd talk about him before saying that he is a nice guy and all (and he is). All of a sudden, he tells me.. 'Well, he would make you a nice boyfriend, you should go out with him'..
I asked him why the h** he was saying that and he responded 'I don't know...' a little embarrassed with a shy smile.

I'm 18 and my girlfriend is 17. I am a virgin and i told her so when she asked. Then she quickly said is also a virgin. I thought that she wasn't because she was in a relationship for a year and a half and her ex would brag about having sex with her, but i have my doubts about him because he seems like the kind of guy who would lie abot that to look cool. But then today someone who knows my girlfriend but is not good friends with her but used to be good friends with my girlfriend's ex said she was pretty sure my girlfriend was not a virgin.

Now, i trust her because she has never lied to me about anything but there is a seed of doubt. How do i bring this up with her to ease my mind?

Yeras before it was unheard of to get a divorse. Now people get married and then get divorced faster then they breath! Who is at blame? Are lots of men afraind of commentment? Are women happy getting being with friend? Why don't people like who they get married to anymore? It just doesn't mnake sense! My parents have been married for almost 25 years and they have fought like friggin hell! Get they never got divorced. Are poeple just impatient and not giving their partner a chance? This is scary because what about people loike me and my friend who want to get married, dont want to get divorced, want to find the man of our dreams? Are their still people who enjoy the companionship of another person instead of they single life? what so fun about the single life anyways?

long story short, i am in an unconvential relationship (no titles)with someone i love. i think i want to leave, i have, but i come back caue of all the emotional attachment. generally speaking hes an amazing guy, and i feel lucky to have him, but how do you know when a person is "the one" i mean i find myself planning my life with him in it, and we talk at length about kids. sometimes i feeled overwhelmed and stupid, other times i feel great.

Ok,

I have this co-worker. He is 8 years older than me. I wasn't attracted to him AT ALL at first, but after the first few months, I think about him more and more every day. We started out joking, flirting with each other, sending little memos to each other about how sexy the other was. It progressed to phone calls, and sexy pictures being exchanged. We've even kissed each other, but in the back of my mind I am wondering if this divorced man is just out for some tail. I have been burned in the past. I have been in relationships that were just for sex. I am really starting to care deeply for him even though its only been a few weeks since we started flirting. He emails me and tells me he likes me a lot and finds me to be sexy, but sometimes he also seems like he would rather be doing something else then talk to me, but this only happens when he's doing his own thing at his house. He doesn't outright tell me that. Am I overthinking this? Does it seem he really does like me?

okay... so 2 of my guy friends are really starting to weird me out. idk what to do.. help would be wonderful...

taylor- funny, smart, sweet, caring. he is perfect in almost every way. everyone says i am too pretty for him, too good for him. but its not true!! we used to be really good friends but then something happened... ? and won't hardly talk to me anymore. idk why though! one of our mutual friends keeps watch and says he checks me out a lot and looks at me a ton with a 'stupid smile' on his face. i don't want to make the first move though because he goes to my small church and it would be awkward.

We were suppose to go out the other night and I thought he stood me up ,so the next morning I sent him an email breaking up with him.Only to find out later that night he had called and left a message only someone used my phone the same time he called so it didn`t go thorough.I called and left an email apoligizing but I haven`t heard anything back.

I said a month ago that "if we didn't go to WeFest together then I wouldn't go alone" I said that believing that he was going with me. and now he isn't going and doesn't want me to go. In fact he'll break up with me if i do go, because I will be breaking a commitment to him. Well I'm working at WeFest and got hired on last year. I worked there last year also. I've went for the past 6 years. I was hired for this year before I met my fiance. Is he making to big of a deal from it? If I go would i really be breaking a commitment to him? Should I go or should I stay? Guys, do you think he'll really leave or is he just bluffing? he still says that he loves me and feels the same about me now as when he asked me to marry him. Why would he leave me?

I would like some help and opinions from both the girls and the guys.

Is it really that big of a deal?

such as the divorce rate being 50% ? IT IS NOT 50% !!!!!! That statistic was made based on THIS YEARS marriages and divorces, not ALL marriages and divorces. IF you take ALL marriages and ALL divorces, the rate os only 2-3%.One could easily say that less people got married this year !!!!! When will people stop perpetuating the lie ? When they finally get over there own relationship ineptitude ?

I sent some pics of my wife to Maxim magazine. They are not nude. They are Betty Page style pin-ups. She did not get mad but was not happy about it. Whats the big deal. My mother raised my daughter for the first 7 years of her life because I was too young, busy working 2-3 jobs and trying to finish school myself. She raised her with no rules or any form of discipline. She is very spolied, thinks she can do what she wants, and only thinks of her self. In the past when I tried to discipline her my mother would get in the way and confort her. Now she is a pre-teen (12 years old). Can I change her ways with discipline or is it too late?
