my husband and i were invited to our daughters and husband house to come over and visit,and watch a movie,and talk,we all were having a great time when the phone rang at 10:pm my son-law took the call a friend ask if they wanted visit and party ,my son-law wanted go our daughter said she did not want to go,she did not fill good , but he got up got beer out and put in a coller and getting to leave ,we could hurt in her eyes my big mouth said your dad has never left me to party ,i said iam sorry no one was mad me,he said im not going out to have sex,hes a great guy ,we got up to leave we all huged ,as we we leaving,he left to his friend house, they have been married 7 momths and have been toghter for five years ,i realy wanted to kick his *** but i said nothing ,what do you think

Gesh, How rude of your son-n-law.
I bet that caught you off guard.
And I would have said something too.
Your daughter is the one that needs to put her foot down.
I can only assume he does this often.

Let your daughter be the one that deals with this. You can only be there for her. Lend a shoulder for her to cry on, if she needs one. Don't try to give her advice, unless she asks for it.
It will only cause conflict between you both.

That's awful. I wonder what he's like when company isn't there.
All you can really do is tell your daughter that you will always be there for her, and stick to that. Let her talk to you, without interruption, when she needs to. Listen and be comforting... she'll sort it out!
