Let me be the first to say: If you don't break up, you will within a year.
If you're even considering breaking up, then you already know that he's not "the one" so why bother prolonging the agony.
Just agree that if, when college is over, you still want to be with each other (you won't...but it sounds good) then you'll find each other again.
Go off to college and have a good time! You will meet lots of new guys and find someone more suitable.

I could have personally never had a long distance relationship in my first year in college (it was wayyyy too much fun being single). But my roommate in college had been dating her b/f for 4 months before she moved away and she is still with him today (they have had a long distance relationship for over 2 years now) and they are getting married when he gets home from Iraq! So... it can be done but i know it was Hard

I would say try the long distance relationship, but keep watch that it doesn't go badly. Some things won't be the same (like the time it takes to drive from one house to the other), but if there's still the same amoung of love and communications (even if it is by phone or e-mail instead of face to face) it might work out. Good luck!

If you think y'all have wut it takes to stay faithful after such A short time, try the long distance thing; it could make or break you guys. I think an open relationship might be a good idea that way If you guys don't have time to talk there wont be harsh feelings, or jealousy and if you begin to drift things will be more casual.

break up honey its better than draggin it on you'll both get over it, and you know what it leaves you free to do as you please so that you can start fresh, you can be long distance friends, but take it from me cause i been throught it before, its so stressful, and its like havin a boyfriend part time. couple things suck when you go it alone. save yourself the heartache and just do it now so that you get over it better.

Well, keep the relationship and see how it goes. It may work as it may not. Usually it doesn't. At least if you give it a chance you can say you tried as opposed to forever wondering the what if.

You should start saving money to buy an apartment or house unless you want to go back home to your parents house.

If you don't know what to do then it's probably not too serious in the first place.
