We were suppose to go out the other night and I thought he stood me up ,so the next morning I sent him an email breaking up with him.Only to find out later that night he had called and left a message only someone used my phone the same time he called so it didn`t go thorough.I called and left an email apoligizing but I haven`t heard anything back.
Some people told me it would be desparate others say that if I want him back it should be no problem what should I do??

Quit playing tag by phone and e-mail. Be a woman and talk to him face to face. And don't be so quick to just dump someone over one incident. If this is a pattern then do something.

It's always best to find the reason someone makes you unhappy before you react in a negative way. you need to know the whole story. Relationships aren't about just you and your emotions. He could have been in a wreck or have an emergency. always find out the facts. You really showed your bad side. If he doesn't take you back, don't be surprised.

This whole thing took place because you two are not communicating like human beings. Stop using e-mail and the telephone and face him and TALK to him about how you feel. It is amazing that people cannot seem to talk face to face with one another any more. Good luck, and do not be so quick to judge this friend or any others from now on.

I think you should call him back or email him or text him and explain that what you did was stupid, immature and rash and you want to take it all back and forget it happened and you will trust him to have a reasonable explanation if anything happens again and that you won't go jumping off the deep end if something did happen that you wait for his explanation. By the way, why didn't you contact him personally when he never showed? Good Luck

I wouldn't call that "breaking up by accident" - perhaps "by mistake"; an impulsive, stupid mistake. Presumably this is a new bf, or you would trust him not to stand you up without a reason. Or if this is how you normally interact with men, maybe he is lucky to avoid continuing a relationship with such an emotionally manipulative, shallow creature as yourself.

you should never over react like that without knowing if something is wrong. Never in an email...tacky. I would go see him face to face and apologize, if he doesn't accept take it as a lesson for next time.

Since it was your mistake, simply pick up the phone, explain the situation that occurred and boom, you two will be back together again..mistakes happen..an NO you will not appear to be desparate...you are just undoing a mistake..

Are you sure he is the one for you? You broke up with him because you thought he stood you up one time. Imagine how he felt. Go over there and apologize face to face.

Im impulsive like you too, admit or not, its like sweating the small stuff.

It's your fault so apologize in person, and be less judgemental or paranoid next time, to avoid such.

Good luck.

I got into a blowout with my girlfriend because I thought she stood me up. Turned out I was wrong, but found out she was married anyway.

If he is decent, he will call.
