You can get married legally only once, but you can have as many weddings as you want and can afford. For example, some friends of mine were married in a civil ceremony at the courthouse (making them legally married) one day. They then traveled to Europe (where she was from) where they had a second ceremony. A month after they got home, his parents hosted a third ceremony and reception for them.
The answer to your question it you are legally married. You can check with the clerk of the court about a second ceremony, or you can hire someone to preside over a second ceremony. It does not have to be someone who is legally authorized to preform marriages, seeing as you are legally married!
Why not have a party / reception and renew your vows there?
Good luck and happiness to you both!

You know, I had a couple of friends just recently got married at our local courthouse, and just yesterday they had a wedding reception (2 months after they wed). She wore the typical wedding gown, he a tux, and they danced, and shown a video of the both of them growing up since they were kids, up to their wedding. Including pictures of brothers, sisters, grandmas, grandpas, and mothers and fathers. It was nice because they didn't have their parents at their ceremony, and it tied in nicely to help their parents feel included. If I were you, I wouldn't just get "re-married" for my parents' sake. Because the day you and your spouse chose to get married on, is YOUR wedding day, and your parents should respect that. Consider a small reception this may help alleviate the tension, and you'll probably end up with nice gifts, and make a bunch of people happy. Best wishes always!

No. But renew your vows with your family present and make it something to remember than a trip down to city hall. This will be much more better as you will have your family to help you and it will be fun. If you want to look for someone to do the vows non-religious try www.knot.com and you can search near your local area. But if your religious go to your local church or parish and speak to the reverend, pastor or priest they can help you.
Good luck!

No - you're already married - city hall won't "marry you again"
however, if you have a religion, you can get a religious or symbolic marriage that your parents can attend.

I don't know if it is legal but prehaps you can do something fun like throw a fake wedding at your house with friends, neighbors, and family members. It will make up for everything.
