I am 30 she is 29.We have a 3 yr old son and we are both great parents. She stays home with him but she also gets out alot cause she is a singer. we have had a good life and we are well off finacially. I never have told her she can't do anything and she has always been my true love. the biggest problem we have had is communication. Now she tells me the last 3 years she has felt numb. and she don't have feelings for me. She wants to seperate to see if she wants to be with me anymore. I told her we both put alot in to our child and we need to learn to commuicate better and start putting each other first again, I suggested counceling and she tells me she does not want to. I love her more then anything and I don' t want to split up my family. I was not perfect but I was not awful and I am willing to change. any advice would be great.. thanks

I've always been a pretty observant person. I like to people watch and I enjoy listening to the comments of others and reading body language. I can't tell you how many times I hear people say that love doesn't exist once you pass a certain age. (usually the age mentioned is 40-ish) I have noticed similar reasons being mentioned for this belief. The most common ones I hear are that we have all developed "baggage" by this stage in our lives, that we are reluctant to open ourselves up because we've been hurt, and also that we are seeking situations that lend themselves more to "convenience" than actual "love". I'm curious as to whether other people have made similar observations, or am I just surrounded by cynics?

i was dating a girl, justine, for about 4 years. we spent almost every single day together and hated to be apart. about a year ago justine found out that i was secretely addicted to watching hoars on the internet and she said that i had "cheated" on her because of this. she found my name on several dating sites but i told her it was just for fun. we made up but things haven't been the same since. around 6 months ago, justine started hanging around with a lot of guy friends. she would disappear for a month at a time and tell me it was none of my f****** business what she did. i love this girl so much and i know she would never cheat on me. i have bought her an engagement ring from wal-mart after keeping it on layaway for almost 4 months. i plan to propose to her on her 27th birthday but she doesn't want anything else to do with me again. i still watch hoars on the internet but if justine marries me i will give it up in a hurry. how do i win back justine and get her to marry me?

theres this kid who was one of my good friends we used to have so much fun
then i started feeling depressed and now he constatly calls me emo
and makes fun of me and every thing from him is a constant put down. he every chence he gets he makes fun of me and he always ut s down the music i like but i don't care i'm not changing for anyone i love My chemical romance and i don't care when people likes othere type of music then me.
i just think that if one of your friends is depressed you should help them feel better and not just dessert them or even worse put them down because thier in pain

Back when I was like, 19-22 I lived my life like a dude, ok. If I saw a fine guy, I wanted to smash, you know? So, I'd push up on him, let him know the deal, and we'd handle it. my youngest brother is starting to really really hurt me by hitting me really hard for no reason....

Just curious about something my ex-husband is doing.

Now that it appears he's either remarried or seriously dating, why is he trying to put on a pity parade about lack of visitation with his son. He didn't even ask last year for Christmas. Suddenly his mom gets jealous that my kids and I visited my family (for the first time in five years) and suddenly it's important for my son to go to a state where my ex-husband doesn't even live anymore to see HIS family. He sees them every summer and every Christmas that he asks.

He moved several thousand miles from us and is now complaining because the travel is expensive. He works a 47K job for a couple of years, why should he have a problem with expenses.

Why does he pretend that I want a relationship with him? IS it to make her jealous? Is he a drama queen? Any ideas? I'm sick of dealing with him altogether. I love my son dearly but I'm regretting not having an abortion, so I wouldn't be stuck for eight more years dealing with this A*hole

I sat next to a guy on the plane and we had an instant connection about so many things. After a month of communicating via email - nothing romantic, he came to the State I am in for his job training for a week. He told me he was married with two kids about 2 hours after we met. My boyfriend and his friends went to a trip. He really wanted me to come with him, but I couldn't. He was really up-set. Why are some BFs willing to buy jewelry for their GFs, expensive or not? In general, does it mean the guy is very into the girl and the relationship? My bf of 1 mth just bought me a crystal bracelet in my favorite color from China during his trip, and I was pretty surprised because jewelry as a gift has a special meaning to me (meaning commitment) but I'd like to see other people's opinion as well. I need some real advice. I lived in Fl and the girl I lived with got pregnant (my child) my grandfather died so I came back home to Pa and managed to get a DUI. On top of that my girlfriend had lost the baby (probably becuase she didn't stop smoking or drinking). Now i'm up in Pa staying with my dad my step mom and my brother and sisters. They have a big house so me and my dog are sleeping in the basement. Nothing down there but it's a nice room has its own hot tub down there. Thing is my step mom hates me. My dad and step mom always go at it when I stay here. I can't drive my car anywhere for nearly 2 years now becuase of this DUI so I plan on selling it. My ex doesn't want me to come back to Fl. So my question is how can I resolve this family problem and see if I can stay in the basement you know pay rent so that I can sell my car and get a place of my own up here and find a job. I am sick of my step mother hating me and want to be around my brother and sisters and be with family.

This guy I have been dating has been divorced 6 months. He doesn't want his ex-wife to know he is sleeping with me. On the weekends he has his daughter (she's 10), he doesn't want us to be on a date anymore because it upset his ex-wife. He wants us to go in separate cars and for me to pay for my own dinner and movie tickets. My poor boyfriend has to put up with my "evil" mother and it's driving me nuts. His family loves me and treats me awesome, hello hugs and goodbye hugs, while my mom will not even acknowledge his presence when we're at her house. I finally confronted her, she apologized, saying she was wrong. But.... why are mother's like this?

My boyfriend makes nearly $60k for his job that he learned while serving in the US Marine Corps and he takes great care of me. But, it's not enough. She doesn't like it that I'm on my own (I'll be 23 next month) and don't rely on her anymore. I just don't get some parents.
