Fisrt thing I want to say is that I love my wife. It is just I don't think she loves me back. It all started when she wanted to go to texas to see an old friend and I did not want her to go. She told me that they had been friends forever and I knew they had been. She ommitted the fact that they were in a relationship previously and when she came back she wanted the divorce. All she would do was talk about him and her time there and then made the desicion to move with him. Then all of a sudden she wants to fix the marriage. It hasn't been the same since. She has been very wishy washy lately being lovey one day and distant the next. I do love her and although our marriage hasnt been the best I kinda want to fix it. We are going trying to go get counciling now. The main reason I have been dwelling on this is the fact that I need to know now what to do, our lease is almost up and its either stay here and maybe it will get better or go back home. I am very confused.

What makes you worry/cared about a girl? Like let's say if the girl you know but are not friends, but you do see each other once in a while a work. Like one time I got really sad, and I started to cry at the corner, he kind of came over with like tissues, and stuff..asking me if I am ok, and he was holding my waist, telling me that everything is ok. Would I guy normally do this to just any girls? What made him do this?

I have a great grandmother in a nursing home...she was sent there after her second stroke, a severe one, and she can barely talk and barely seems conscious. I went to visit her once with my mother, despite her warning me that she was in really bad shape, because I felt obligated to go and visit. But it was very depressing, because she really could not talk at all, she would stare off in space, she kept repeating "please, please" and we could not figure out what she wanted and she started getting angry.

I feel like I don't know what to do...I feel guilty because I know she is in there alone, but I feel like it is so hard to go there because I don't know what to do, I can't even talk to her because she can't talk back, and she always asks for things that nobody can understand what she wants.

What would you do in this situation?

My husband treats me differently - depending on if I working or not... When I'm working he has sex with me often but when I am not...I have to continually ask for sex and even then, it's not that good. Why does my husband treat me with more respect and honor when I’m working verses when I’m not?

I have been married for 7 years and have worked full-time and went to college full-time for most of our marriage. The first 4 years I worked 50 hours a week & went to school full-time. He respected me and said I was ambitious. He doesn't say that anymore.

Also, I am looking for a job that I can be content with, but I have been unable to find one. I get offers for jobs in offices and I am straying away from that b/c I feel depressed and like I'm chained to the desk when I wk office jobs. My bachelors is in management (got it in dec 2006). I need to make some changes; per I'm not happy when I'm treated badly by him.

He says, me nt working right now isn't a problem. What should I do?

Spent time w/ a guy that told me I am his high school dream girl. Hung out every weekend for like 3 weeks as friends. Sent emails, text messages etc everyday and then we were supposed to hang out, but because of the divorce I felt it was in my best interest to go home to my husband. My friend emailed him to let him know that I am going through some stuff and to give me space. Since that moment everything changed. How can you go from one extreme to the next in a matter of a day? Is he not interested? Is he too interested he doesn't want to get involved? Do morals play a role? WTF

I was dating a guy for over a year. He really liked my kids and wanted to make them a part of us as it should be. He has kids also, who knew my kids already (they didn't hook us up). But my kids do not like this guy. He has never hurt them in anyway and they saw how happy we were together but the kids just didn't get a good vibe and there was too much tension so I broke it off with him.

when my fiance and i disagree or argue, i usualy clean the house really really extra really good as a gesture to forget about the whole thing. it probably seems dumb, but is this reinforcing his/our bad behavior?

When my husband and I bought the car that I drive, we had to put it in his name only because of credit issues. Now, every time we get in an arguement and I try to leave for a while to cool off, he says I can't take the car because it's in his name. He does the same thing with my cell phone (he opened the account so the bill comes in his name). I know this is a just a desparate attempt to try and control me, but what rights does he really have in this case?

ok so my friend has been sending me really mean emails swearing and stuff and so i just got so pissed off i texted her but she isnt allowed to get texts cuz it costs too much for her phone so after i sent it, my phone rang! i looked at the screen and her name was on it so i quickly hung up! now im like scared!!!!! what if her sister got it and was calling or her dad or mom?!?!?!?!!! i dont want her to call my house either though! she will probably swear in the message she leaves and mi parents will freak! what should i do?

Hi. Ever since I was 5, when I stayed at my grandma's, she'd pick on me because of my weight. Like when I'd be in the living room reading she'd be in another room saying how she wishes I'd have more self control, and that I'll never be pretty and that I'm stupid.
She has all these years, but now that I've lost my baby fat, when a relative would say something like "Wow, you've gotten tall!" granny would cut in and say "and THIN!!!" Now it seems that she has to bring up my body size in every conversation with me. What should I do to stop her from picking on me?

Talked to a girl online and when we met, I was late by 45 minutes because I live about an hour away from her, and I called her on the way out of town because I had forgotten to get gas. She was cool about it, and said no problem. Then, when I walked into the restaurant, I told her that she didn't look at all like her pictures, like I thought she did, and she said what do you mean? I said it's not in a bad way, it's actually better, and she told me that she thought I looked different but better.

But, the evening went straight downhill from there, and she didn't say much even though we had hit it off so well on the phone. I kept asking her if she was upset about the picture comment, and she said it just surprised her and made her think that I wasn't attracted to her since that was the first thing I said to her. She said she thought I was just saying that she looked better to be nice and save face, and that I was bullshitting. Then we went for a walk and then she was asking me if I was ready to go, and I just told her that I wanted to be friends. She said, See, I knew that you really weren't attracted, what is it about me you find so unattractive? Then she told me she thought it was wierd that my sister in law was still in contact with my exwife who cheated on me, and I have lousy taste in women. Why would she act like this?

without sounding conceited, we are a good looking couple. Neither one of us would have a problem meeting other people if we were single, but we are not. His glancing at other women has bothered me and I've sat and talked to him about it in a calm voice. He says I see things that are not there and that it's normal to look around. I think what bothers me the most is when he makes eye contact with these women and seconds later the women look over at me feeling ashamed. I don't like feeling like "the idiot." I've talked to him about this and he's improved, a little. It's getting to the point where I do not look forward to going out. He even tries the "eye" thing with family friends and that's weird. I don't know how else to go about fixing this because I've tried talking. Now, I don't say anything and just keep the hurt inside because we just found out I'm pregnant and I don't want to get into discussions. I'm a size 4, I dress up for him all of the time. what more do I do?

I think another couple is trying to interfere in the relationship I have with a friend of mine. I think they are trying to turn us against each other. They are often trying to convince me that I need to move on, find someone else. However, I love my friend absolutely and unconditionally and everyone knows this. With these two around, if I even try to hug my friend they act as if I'm trying to hurt her or something. I am wondering if they are saying malicious things about me to her, trying to persuade her to ditch me. These two are very rude, immature, obnoxious, irresponsible, and disrespectful. And they are 37 and 40 years old! Yet they act like teenagers!
What should I do? I feel as if I may lose my best friend because of this other couple.
