I recently got engaged and me and my fiancee are deciding on a date. We were high school sweethearts and have been dating for almost 4 years (it'll be 4 in October). We are thinking of getting married in May or June of 2009 which will be a 22 or 23 month engagement. We are still in college but he will graduate in December and I will graduate in May. The reason we have thought about waiting so long is to save up plenty of money for a house and everything else. However, we have also thought about getting married in August of next year (a 13 month engagement) but I will have only been working for a couple of months and him for 8 months.

Any opinions??

At first it was just, kiss me, kiss me. Now that I have been dating my boyfrined for almost a year, has moved on to asking for more than just kisses. A week ago I gave him a hand job, but now i'm afraid he will think that whenever he begs for something from me, he can get it. What can I do to prevent this from happening?

My girlfriend is originally from Korea and is over here on a work visa that I help her obtain. We met on a Christian missions trip in Seoul last fall, and we fell in lust immediately.

Honestly, I've never had better carnal relations in my life, and I just knew from the start this was the girl I wanted to spend the next 18-48months of my life with. So I asked her to marry me, with a full prenuptual agreement protecting myself for the inevitable divorce.

Through no fault of mine, she let herself become pregnant with my child. Okay, that's fine I guess. However, 7 months into her pregnancy, she was diagnosed with probable MS.

Honestly, I didn't know that I was involving myself with a flawed woman. I did not sign up for this.

Should I just tell her it's not going to work out? Should I take the ring back? I was thinking about waiting for her to go to work, packing up and driving out to Seattle.

I also have considered having her work permit revoked. Would that cost me a lot? How would I go about doing that?

I'm a good man, and this is not something I deserve!

Good luck

I called on the monday and tues and he seemed occupied. he'd call me, but it was what very distant, he called on Wednesday. I never picked up the phone or returned the phone call. It's been a wk, no txt, no call..nothing. he cut me off completely. I will never call!!. I have my thoughts on this, but why do u think I was dumped or will he call. I want to get him back :(

i went on a date 2 weeks ago with a guy i met from myspace. he went to the same school as me and i later found out that he is related to a good friend of mine, so it wasn't like i went out with a complete stranger. anyways, him and his last girlfriend just broke up about a month ago, and i don't think he's completely over her yet. they dated almost a year. he sent me the message below last night, and i don't know whether i should just get over him, or kinda wait around for him. he's the one who pursued me in the first place. what do u think? thanks for ur help.

he sent me this-----> Its me again, dont get upset or anything at me, but I like you, but, Im not as ready to date as what I thought I was. I really want to be friends with you right now but I cant date you. I hope your not upset with me, but thats the way I feel right now and hopefully it will change within the near future, but again, I would really like to be friends with you and hope we can be.

I started seeing this guy, he is absolutly perfect. I never felt like this before about anyone. The thought of losing him scares me, and the fact that its only been a month scares me even more. We both were recently divorced. I have never been in this kind of situation before, but I've noticed little signs that he misses her. He kinda talks about her sometimes, or if he sees something he will say "My ex wife had one of those". Then in his room in three days his and his ex's rings were in three different places like he was looking at them or something. I understand that he was with her for seven years and that it is our human nature to "Miss our ex's" but I almost feel like I'm being disrespected. But I want to be understanding and make sure he has time to become himself. But I also know she did him wrong and for the last two years of their marriage he was in Iraq. He got back in Dec. and they filed March. Should I give him time? Like back off? or what?

I'm a bride to be and getting married in the NY Metro region. I've read a lot of answers regarding how much is appropriate for a NY metro wedding and most have said $100 per couple is sufficient. I know that gifts are not required technically but I think the trends also include the bride and groom paying for the wedding themselves and usually going into debt to do so. If people give $25-100 total for themselves and their guest if they bring one, I think the couple would be the ones trying to make ends meet to pay off the loan for a lot longer than they had to. Most reception sites in the NY metro region are greater than $150 per person for a Saturday night wedding. It is an honor to have guests but at the same time i think guests should try to cover the plate. Should people accept to go if they know they can't afford it? Otherwise, should they plan to go out less on the weekends so they can save, after accpeting so that by the time of the wedding, the guest has funds to give?

But would you be willing to try out my Relgion, I know thatif you did I would you to! Now There was an answer on my this question last time i asked it and I broke up with him! But i am just wondering what your willing to do for someone you care about and your believes that you have? I am christian if you haven't notice before!

my dad and i were clpse when i was growing up we did everything together. i would stand ontop of his shoes and we'd dance together. we were so close and i loved him so much. i was really a "daddys girl" but then something changed. he started getting caught up with work and other things and had less and less time for me. he had meetings on my thirteenth birthday and he chose meetings over dinner with me. last week, he had been out of town on business for all week. when he came home i ran to greet him saying "hi daddy" but he didnt even look at me. whenever im talking to my mom he always calls her away from me saying "no, come watch tv with me, she doesnt need you" i dont know what has happened to my daddy that i used to look up to and constantly want to be around. hes no longer fun to talk to and i cant tell him about my day or anything. when i try, he just walks off or pretends hes too interested in his tv show. im going to college soon and want a better relationship w/ him
