David's Bridal told my daughter she could. She had to return dress #1 and could use in store credit. We got dress #2, tiara, shoes etc. They were very good about it and quite helpful.

I just bought my dress from there and my bridesmaids did also, when my maid of honor and I started fighting we ended our friendship and I had to have a bridesmaid take her place. My Maid of Honor had a different color dress than the other girls, so the bridesmaid that took her place had to get that color dress, they exchanged it for a different color. But they said there wouldn't be a refund if we changed our minds. So no way could we get our money back for any of the dresses. But we could exchange them for a different color or size.

From personal experience, they SAY that their policy is to not allow an exchange. However, in reality they take this on a case by case basis.

I exchanged my dress there, but you'll only get store credit, They let one of my bridesmaids exchange hers also after she found out she was pregnant, her dress had even been on clearance and they didn't give us any problems.

Sell your current dress on ebay - you probably won't get what you paid but at least you'd get some of your money back to spend on a new dress

The exchange policy is that there is NO exchange policy.
All sales are final.
Information was taken from their oficial website.
Good luck

No, they won't allow exchanges for differnet items. Sorry. They're pretty strict about it.

Ok I just went through this with them. I would honestly suggest you call them and let them tell you it is to complicated for me to explain.
