I really love my boyfriend, we have been together for 1 year now. I want us to stay together. When we first started dating, I knew that he would go to the bar sometimes, and go out with friends. It was ok. But now he works 7am - 3:30pm and he goes to the bar almost everyday when he gets off work. Also sometimes he has been staying out till 2:00 or 3:00 in the morning, (Even when he has to work that morning.) He says that it shouldn't be a problem because I am still at work until 5:00. Sometimes he still doesn't get home till about 6:00 or later. His little boy doesn't understand why his dad isn't at home, and I also just don't get it anymore. He pretty much has a family at home, and he doesn't act like it. I am not 21 years old yet (Only 19 years old), but seeing this all the time doesn't really make me want to drink. I feel like I am the one person that can change his ways, but HOW??? How can I talk to him about this problem? How can I make him understand this isn't right?

i know some friends and i go to parties and things but, like when i'm there i get ignored and told to shut up and i get nasty things said to me, and people make false rumours about me, like saying i "like" someone when i don't and things like that, and i try to be like them, i try to be fun and things, and i make them laugh, but they say i'm annoying, or they're to interested in another girl who's more slimmer than me, and is basically a tart, and what always happens is i end up looking after the drunk people, and clearin up the sick and the place even when it's not my home! i am really trying to make friends and get them to like me, but they just treat me like trash and they trample all over me and say i'm really ugly and fat and horrible to look at and that i'm annoying when all i do is try to be nice and have fun, it's so strange like there's this person who's one minute they won't leave me alone, then when this other girl comes i'm just shoved back into the corner clearing up,

I've been a friend with a kind and attractive woman for a few months and still new to each other. From her observation, she knows I'm soft-spoken and a little shy when I talk to her.

It's been almost two weeks since she has been on vacation. She told me beforehand about her trip, but never told me when she was leaving nor coming back. While she was gone, I left a few messages on her cell phone asking her to call me when she arrives or has time. I left my last message this past Saturday. I know it seems annoying that I left her a few voice messages when she was on away and I feel guilty about it. I never meant for this to happen. Currently, I don't know if she's back from her trip nor if she is doing something to keep herself busy. What will her reaction be if she finds out that I left a few voice messages (to remind her to give me a call) on her phone while she was away? Will she be angry? annoyed? I'm a little puzzled and wondering if she'll speak to me when I see her.

This is my second marriage and I have pretty much all I need as far as household items go. I really don't need towels, dishes, etc...I understand those gifts are inevitable, and I will appreciate anything my guests would care to give us...

my question is: if we don't register for gifts are our guests more likely to give money? that is what we need- we are preparing to buy a home and would be thrilled to add to our downpayment.

I would never ask for money- that is the height of tacky....

Okay. I'm 27, known my husband 16 months, got married last oct, got a house in november and i've been miserable ever since. I left him on june 6th for two days and went back thinking it might be a wake up call. Yeah right. He has no desire for sex and said that's his antidepressants. But he hasn't made an apt to get them changed. He has an apt with a urologist to talk about that problem. He can't get it up. We've tried Viagra and that doens't work every time. Then when it does he said he doesn't feel anything anyway so why do it! On top of that.. he's disabled with ms, he is not in a wheel chair, he doesn't work. So he said he's be mr mom. (there's no kids). Well its a fight usually to get him to even vacuum the living room. He thinks the marriage can work without intamacy. I work 8-5 and he sleep most of the day and is up half the night. He never goes to bed with me. anyway.. i went to a lawyer last night and filed for an anulment! how do i tell him? I'm going to the shore

I've always been a nice guy... And haven't really had much of a love life. But I found this article that I think is awesome about describing it. If you've got a few minutes, take a read and let me know what you think!

The contract would be like for one year, three years or five years and if things aren't working so great at the end of the contract you just shake hands and walk away. If things are working out fairly well but there are things that one partner wants to change that could be negotiated in the new contract negotiations.

Seems to me that this would make for much healthier relationships and eliminate the way people become complacent, unloving and lazy after marrage.

So would you like this arrangement better?

My boyfriend recently started a new job. He works full time, goes to school at night and spends the majority of his weekends working on his business. This leaves very little free time for the two of us to spend together. Well, he is off of school this week. We spoke yesterday during work & both planned to be home shortly after work. I called him 30 after he got off. He did not answer his phone either time. I went home to work out & called him back 2 hours after he was supposed to be off of work. He finally answers & says he is hanging out with his boss & will be home later. The story seemed fishy to me & I was angry. Why not answer your phone if you are just hanging out with another guy? Or at least call back to say that you will be late? He gets home & tells me that I have no right to be mad. That I am immature & possessive. He then tells me that his boss has invited him to go to a bar tonight. To be continued.......

ok, here is my life story..lol. I have 4 children and I am pregnant with number 5. I was with my kids father for 8 years and we were happy and wanted a big family..then he cheated on me...so anyways i left him and then ran into an old school friend. We reconnected from there. We have been together for 18 months now. I am also 5 months pregnant with his baby. Things were and have been going great until last month when he started hanging out with "bad' people at work. They are single and really just party all the time. He started drinking which he hasnt done in 10 years. Once he took that first drink he has not been able to stop. He has been lying and decieving me ever since. Well 2 weeks ago he slept with another girl he met at a bar. He told me he was drunk and when he sobered up he realized what he had done, etc. BUt he still does what he wants but begs me to stay. his mom is blaming it all on me?? what should I do?

I know that sounds heartless and mean but, last night I was rubb-drying my hair and I over heard them talking. I know I wasn't supossed to easedrop but, I did. My parents and older sister were talking about school for me and my younger sibling. Talking about school doesn't bother me because, I make good grades in school but, what they were talking about did. They were talking about sending my little sister to a grade school 7hrs. away that's in Nashville, TN. and me to Baxley, GA. that's 10 hrs. from where we live. The thing that bothers me is I've been homeschooled through grade school then, my 7th grade year went to a Christian school. I got picked on because I was the youngest in my class and so on. So...my mom put my back in homeschooling for my 8th and 9th grade year. I want to go back to the Christian school b/c I'm sick of homeschooling. That certain school I went to was the best in the best in the area. But, Mom doesn't like it I know I'm complaining but, what am I gonna do?

I remember when I was a teenager in the late 80's and the thought of kissing a girl I really liked was exciting. Getting to second or third base was considered sex back then. As young kids we didn't even contemplate the thought of actual intercourse, not because we didn't want to(my friends and I,) but because it was thought of as special and even sacred.

Wouldn't it be nice if today's teenagers could experience that same joy and simple naviety that we had, instead of the constant emphasis and pressure that kids are bombarded with everywhere they turn. And the smart ones don't have to buy what's being sold to them.

The 60's "if it feels good do it" mentality has set us back as a society and had done irreparable damage, the likes of which we've yet to fully experience.

I pray that type of innocence can come back one day, so that kids can appreciate the simple happiness that comes with kissing, holding hands and affectionate touching that doesn't always end up in the sack.
